Director of National Intelligence James Clapper told House lawmakers that the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt is "largely secular" and has rejected violence and decried al-Qaida as a perversion of Islam. Congressional hearing on Thursday.
James Clapper was chosen for this sensitive position, for which he is completely unqualified, by none other than Barack Hussein Obama. Need I say more?

I met General Clapper years ago when he was was a 2-star and assigned to fly on Looking Glass missions. That was 21 years ago and I’m not convinced that he hasn’t been co-opted, sold out or is just senile. I don’t believe it but we’ll see.

Clapper must have been born in a parallel negative universe if he thinks the MUSLIM brotherhood is secular and non-violent!
I suppose Hamas is just a Kiwanis like organization.
I suppose their “STATED” hatred of Israel is a good thing but given the administration’s animosity towards Israel I am sure they are very comfortable getting into bed with the MUSLIM brotherhood.

Notice Obama in his remarks today, didn’t say it was a ‘transition’ he said the young made Egypt ‘transform’...as in fundamental transformation...

When Clapper was an active duty general he was in charge of various levels within AF commands and other agencies. He seemed to be competent but that was 20+ years ago and I’m not sure what he has done since he retired. Also not sure how much his faculties have degraded.
One completely unqualified person chosen by another...
