This is really bad.
Us Weekly has published what it claims are comments made by Sarah Palin, in which the former vice presidential candidate blasts Christina Aguileras performance of the national anthem at Super Bowl XLV.
Except the over-the-top quotes, which Us Weekly attributes to a Monday radio interview with Sean Hannity, were actually written for a satire website.
Again: Palins Aguilera comments are fabricated.
They come from a satire piece.
Only Us Weekly posted the Palin comments as real.
Therefore, according to the outlet, Palin calls Aguilera a demanding beauty queen whos clearly in over her head.
The fake Palin also talks about wanting to deport Aguilera, because spicy Latin princesses shouldnt be allowed to sing at the Super Bowl.
Unemployment is at nine percent, yet we have to suffer through a performance by a foreigner with a poor grasp of the English language, the fake Palin supposedly tells Hannity in the phony interview.
It boggles the mind that a major outlet could read these obviously satirical, fake quotes and treat them as the real deal.
However badly Aguilera botched the anthem last Sunday, Us Weekly just did a hundred times worse.
Now back to article number 572 about how the “pyjamas media” lacks a “vetting” function and, therefore, can’t be trusted.
There are still people who actually believe Sarah Palin really said, “I can see Russia from my house!”.............
One idiot in his underpants, sitting at a computer in the basement of his mama’s house can wreak a lot of havoc these days.
Sometimes the internet is a curse.
Sarah Palin must produce some intense sexual desire/rage in the perverts of the left.... THEY CAN’T STOP LYING AND OBSESSING OVER HER.
Sarah must be all they ever think about.
It is completely pathological. She needs a restraining order against Karl Marx!
This brazen act of “desperation” is fantastic in exposing the systemic fraud perp’d by the hate freaks in media.
I sincerely hope we continue this tactic of getting the MSM to continue to report fake news as fact. Eventually, more people will start to look at the MSM as “the boy who cried wolf” instead of an institution to be taken seriously.
The internet isn’t a curse, it’s the idiots on the left who can’t tell fact from fiction - they’re the curse.
Kind of an "inverse Cloward-Piven" strategy?
Le Monde used a still of Tina Fey from SNL on its front page story about Sarah Palin.
They know it’s fake, but they also know that many will buy it as truth, just like they attribute Tina Fey’s, “I can see Russia from my house,” to something Sarah actually said.
Never overestimate the intelligence of the American people.
My SIL does.
And pitifully, in the middle of the argument, I froze and didn’t correct her.
Booo.
If your SIL is that deluded and ignorant, there is no hope for her............
I can just hear the liberal kooks at the office quoting this to me in the next couple of weeks as it spreads throughout La-La land.
You give them waaay too much credit for being intelligent and having foresight to see the consequences of their actions...........
So Dan “Fake But Accurate” Rather is an editor at Us magazine, huh?
Your SIL is in great company..........
Probably his daughter...............
That’s why I couched it in “If I were conspiratorially minded...”
But, still, you have to wonder about this. They aren’t all stupid, as kooky as they are about the real-world.
