Christian activist Peter LaBarbera is calling attention to a popular restaurant chain's association with the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force.
Homosexual activists called for a boycott of Chick-fil-A restaurants after a Pennsylvania franchise provided box-lunches for a recent seminar encouraging traditional marriage (see earlier article). The national chain and many of its franchise owners across the U.S. have pledged to contribute to everything from marriage seminars to retreats and counseling for its employees.
Peter LaBarbera, founder of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality, argues that Chick-fil-A is a fine Christian company and suggests that a boycott of the company is absurd. But he points out that another popular restaurant -- Chili's -- supports the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, which he says promotes polyamory, the practice of having more than one open romantic relationship at a time.
"[That group] holds an annual 'Creating Change' seminar with some of the most deviant workshops you've ever seen," says LaBarbera. "They promote so-called 'sexual freedom,' which basically wants to do away with all sex-oriented laws in the United States such as limiting adult industries near neighborhoods."
According to the family advocate, NGLTF is a left-wing organization -- and Chili's supports it.
"And so we're calling on people to stop going to Chili's because it supports this radical, leftist, deviant agenda promoted by the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force," he remarks.
LaBarbera concludes with this admonition:

Chili's is a sub-standard chain at any rate. I haven't patronized a Chili's for years.
I'll boycott Chili's, no problem, I rarely have gone there anyway. Sad to say but I must also boycott Chick-fil, as I do every other chicken joint, I hate chicken.
Chick-fil-A is such a wonderful restaurant. Good old fashioned customer service, polite clerks, clean as a whistle, closed on Sundays...the way fast food ought to be.
I don’t have a Chili’s near me, so it’s easy to boycott. Chick-Fil-A though is one of my favorites. Good Christian people, decent fast food and great customer service. For example, I walk with a cane. The employees have gone out of their way to help me bring my order to the table. And the employees seem to be intelligent, unlike the ones at McDonalds (”ya want fries with that?”) Ugh!
Before last week I had missed the pleasure of Chick Fil et, but after reading I wouldnt have to look at Homo’s there I went and enjoyed it. I will be back.

Long past time to slap up these fudgies ...and slap ‘em up good.
I think it would be much more effecive for everyone to go out of the way to patronize Chick-fil-a rather than trying to boycott Chili’s.
Norman Brinker's ex-wife is Nancy Brinker. Nancy Brinker's sister was Susan G. Komen. Nancy Brinker is the founder of Komen for the Cure, Norman Brinker (though divorced they are on very good terms) is on the board of Komen and a major donor/fundraiser for Komen. And Komen for the Cure gives millions of dollars to Planned Parenthood.
Nevertheless, when we do learn of a business's support for a radical, anti-civilization organization, it's incumbent upon us to do everything in our power to let our dollars speak up loudly for sanity and morality. It's our moral duty (now there's a word that hasn't been dusted off in such a long time, it's used as a term of derision nowadays.)
Fortunately, there is a Chili's in my neighborhood, and I won't be going back - I'll even be letting them know that I know.
Links, ties and tentacles.......
I called him Don Ho-Mo.
Thanks for the info.
A better way to boycott Chili’s would be to go during their busy time, occupy a table as you sip your complementary water and peruse their menu. Take as mush time as possible. Then after a bit , when an exasperated waiter/tress ask for the umpteenth time if you have made a decision state.. “Why yes I have, I have decided I just cannot support a place which aids perversion like homosexuality, instead I will go eat at Chick-Fil-A a wholesome eatery.” Then walk out.
Thanks for the info. I had no idea that such a connection existed.

?
To bad we don’t have Chick-fil-A where I am. I’d have lunch there today. Went to Chilli’s once. I thought it was rather dirty. Won’t go back.
