Sarah Palin did not say she supports gay marriage. She hasn't celebrated the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell. But she also did not say that a gay Republican group should be banned from participating in a big Republican conference, and for that, social conservatives are begging her to "clarify."
Controversy has been brewing for months over GOProud, a gay conservative group, and its participation in CPAC, one of the biggest Republican events of the year--a must-do for most aspiring presidential hopefuls. Many social conservative groups are boycotting the conference because GOProud was allowed to participate. But Palin said she thought GOProud belonged at the table, telling the Christian Broadcasting Network, "Should conservatives not reach out to others, not participate in events or forums that perhaps arising within those forums are issues that maybe we dont personally agree with? And I say no." Palin then likened letting a gay group in the conference to sitting on a panel with "a bunch of the liberal folks."

Me too. With my nose plugged.
I’m worried more about the muslim group than GOProud. So many muslim groups in this country appear to be connected to the Muslim Brotherhood or some other inimical group.
As far as I know, GOProud is not linked to the Sodom and Gomorrah “Give Us Your Men So That We May Know Them” Brotherhood, who wish to establish a Global Caliphate and subject “breeders” to dhimmi status...
Heh. Nobody’s perfect.
Right. I stand corrected. He’s pushing a green agenda. I cannot support that.
True dat. But some are awfully close, while others suck on a multitude of fronts.
I bet he isn’t pushing it now. But his idiotic ‘green’ streak reminds me of Newtered.
Homosexuality is unnatural. It is destructive to the body and causes disease. It goes against Natural Law Theory which is what our legal system is founded on. It should never have been taken off of the APA list of disorders where it sat for centuries.
It is a learned behavior and encourages child abuse. Primitive societies that promote the behavior have lots of it and the ones that discourage it...have little of it. Look at the homosexual Afghanis who sodomize their boys and dress them as girls. They do it because they were sodomized by men when they were boys. It has gone on for centuries as it did in Greece and Rome until Christianity was the paradigm of Western Civilization. It is sick behavior because it is the perversion of nature and it is caused by child abuse—either rape or emotional demeaning of the sexual identity of the child in formative years.
Where are the homosexual animals in nature? But of course, you can make animals homosexual in perverse situations in captivity like they did to penguins and Rhesus monkeys. (Although the penguin dumped the male for a female later. Monkeys that were denied maternal care ended up as anti-social, killing others of its kind and unable to procreate...practicing only abnormal homosexual sex. There is abundant proof that it is abnormal, learned behavior. There is no “gay” gene.
Yes she has, in a recent interview.
“Well, the - David - question... I think you`re referring to the act.. if two people who aren`t...Adam and Eve would be not a good example if a couple who believe they`re people whose plumbing, I think that would be something, also.”
(I like Sarah... just having a little fun with her ability to jam 75 words into a 5-word response)
;-)
I would too.
Gay marriage and all the associated BS that goes along with it is a state issue not a National issue as it seems to be along with a lot of petty as crap. The only thing any National Leader should be concerned with is the defense of the US and a strong foreign policy.
The Federal government has limits and that’s where national politics should stay.
That is exactly what they are doing.
His green policy more or less resembles McCain’s in 2008.
I seem to recall him huffin on McCain’s skidmarks pretty thoroughly in 08.
Yeah and he’s still pushing for federal ethanol subsidies.
Gov. Palin is not an OBAMA REPUBLICAN like CPAC and
Bachmann who supports CPAC’s antiSemitism, IslamoNaziphilia
and the rest.
This starts out with complete non-information. Even Obama claims he is against same-sex marriage(which we know is a lie) . What Republican has openly celebrated the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell? Some are defending it, but most are staying quiet on the issue.
This sounds like really bad logic.
Look at it this way. If she came out strongly against the Obama-Pelosi-RINO DADT repeal bill during and after the debate, there is no way the homosexual agenda crowd would support her. Now you seem to hope they will support her for staying quiet on it (I doubt they will ever support her anyway.)
This is like if you claimed that Palin is an attractive candidate so socialists will support her (if she didnt speak out against specific Obama socialist policies), but at the same time claiming that she hasnt changed her ‘views’ on it. No one would have bought that.
Here’s your clarification. If you want these issues moved to the states, which is their proper place under the constitution, vote for palin, and how she feels personally on the matters like abortion and gay family unit simulation will not matter as she would be a FEDERAL officer. Your state senators, representatives, and governors will be the points of influence on these matters. This orginalist philosophy will help the productive, independent, red states thrive. Meanwhile, the decaying death star blue states will continue to implode until political market forces drive them in the right direction.
If you want the federal government to prostheletize and enforce your religious values at the point of a gun, vote for Huckleberry.
The only issue that truly needs clarification is the disastrous DADT repeal. This was entirely designed to reduce morale and undermine the military. And this IS a federal issue.
Anyone not pushing them, other than Paul and DeMint?
