"If we're fighting to reform the tax code and increase exports, the benefits cannot just translate into greater profits and bonuses for those at the top. They have to be shared by American workers, who need to know that opening markets will lift their standard of living as well as your bottom line," President Obama told the Chamber of Commerce on Monday morning.

What does this idiot think DIVIDENDS are? Let the workers invest in coporations, get paid dividents and thereby voluntarily share in the profits..
A tool and a fool - unfortunately a tool and a fool with a lot of power.
Salary, overtime, health benefits, pensions, stock options, bonuses, sick leave, maternity leave, holidays, lunch breaks, smoke breaks...some or ALL of these are offered by 99 of 100 companies in this country. Now, let’s make it “fair”?!
What exactly do these people consider “wages” to be?
What a fool...hey Obama what about all the doctors and doctors groups that you prohibit from owning a hospital? They aren’t even ALLOWED to make a profit...what a socialist...
Right now we need to be increasing employment here in America. The best way of doing that involves simultaneously lowering the standard of living. The solution is not more education, sharing the wealth of executives, high tech, etc. The solution is bring jobs back to America that have been taken from us by countries that are able to do the same jobs cheaper. The solution will result in more people working in low paying jobs, which is better than no job at all. It will be better for individuals and better for the overall American economy and America’s position in the world.
Spoken like a true Socialist.
Spoken like a moron who understands zilch about economics. Maybe he knows more about Kenyan economics: one cow equals two goats.
A lightweight, over-his-head fool.
DIdn’t he just tell BOR that he did not support redistribution of wealth?
What a phony!
They are. The workers' share is called wages and benefits.
What does he know about the subject ?
So, that means the UAW members should have taken pay cuts when GM and Chrysler lost money?
But as per his interview w/ O’Reilly....he is not interested in spreading the wealth (of others).
“Didnt he just tell BOR that he did not support redistribution of wealth?”
Not of his or his friends’ wealth anyway. Income, either......
I guess he thinks he’s paid by gerbils.
So, let me understand this, when the company owner(s) profit they HAVE to share it with their workers? Does this mean that the workers HAVE to invest their own money in the company? In other words, when the company owner(s) have a loss, do all the employees have to toss their money into the company to make up the loss? /sarc
they are already shared...
in the form of wages, you idiot
seems the progressives want to get paid more without working for it.
Was he waving the red commie flag and wearing a Che shirt when he said it?
He isn’t even TRYING to hide it anymore. We’re screwed.
Another “Obamaism” Just what we all need...
American union ‘workers’ are voting themselves “PRESENT” most of the time. They do not exert any extra effort- nor do they try to learn something better to make more money at their company, or even a higher challenging job.
Just like NObama-—voting “PRESENT” is the limit of their imagination.
EVERY American ‘worker’ can participate in the ‘profits’ of any company:
BUY STOCK IN THAT COMPANY!!!!!
Giving ‘workers’ like those I knew in various union jobs when I was a kid more money to do the same childish tricks like putting coca cola bottles inside the door of a car at American Motors isn’t my idea of a person who truly care to make himself or herself a better life. They never seem to learn that most of their actions only COST the company money- & helps to drag down the profits. Punching in & out each other’s time cards is outright fruad- & occurs everywhere, even in white collar jobs.
The Unions seem to have a strangle hold on NObama.
No wonder there is so much vitriol aimed at Sarah Palin & Michelle Bachman.
I don’t think they have the same sympathy for the mindless jerks I had to work with.
