U.S. President Barack Obama met with members of Egypt's Islamist opposition movement, the Muslim Brotherhood, earlier this year, according to a report in Thursday editions of the Egyptian daily newspaper Almasry Alyoum.
The newspaper reported that Obama met the group's members, who reside in the U.S. and Europe, in Washington two months ago.
According to the report, the members requested that news of the meeting not be publicized. They expressed to Obama their support for democracy and the war on terror.

Has Rick Warren become a shill for Islamic terror?
That's the charge of a well-documented article by an investigator published in FrontPageMag.com.
Warren is promoted on the "speakers corner" of the Islamic Society of North America, an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood and a financier of the Hamas terror organization.
Fifteen months ago, Warren spoke to ISNA's annual convention with these opening words: "As-salamu Alaykum. I come to you today deeply humbled and honored by this invitation. I truly mean that. I applaud your courage for inviting an Evangelical pastor. Thank you."
He shared the podium at that event with Siraj Wahhaj, an "unindicted co-conspirator" in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing; Zulfiqar Ali Shah, the former South Asia director of KindHearts, a Hamas fundraising group shut down by the FBI in February 2006; and Naeem Muhammad, a U.S. staff member of Islamic Relief, a "charity" the Israeli government has claimed is a front for Hamas.

According to Wikileaks found in e-mails that is exactly what happened.
good find. Thanks.
Wonder if those donations were a result of or had anything to do with this guy -- who was, at least many moons ago when pregnant chads wrere all the rage, on the advisory board of democratsdotcom- and all the places he set up "off the grid" internet service?:
Michael North, a California technology executive who founded North Communications, an interactive marketing firm.
Michael North is a left-wing social entrepreneur. His most recent project is Greenstar , which installs self-contained, solar-powered, Internet-connected "community centers" in locations that are "off the grid." The phrase "off the grid" refers to the electrical power system, yet it symbolizes a larger disconnect from modern technology and affluence. The first Greenstar installation was in Al-Kaabneh, a Palestinian village on the West Bank of the Jordan River.
For example, the Greenstar solar-powered Internet community center in Al-Kaabneh came out of the Wye River peace accord. President Clinton asked his Cabinet for ways to deliver on some of the economic promises of Wye. His Secretary of Energy passed this request down, ultimately leading to a connection with Greenstar.

He is in turn associated with the 911truther/birther Phillip J Berg [perennnial Democrat candidate for governorship primaries in PA.] and with the author/"French Intel analyst" Jean-Charles Brisard who was advisor to the Iraqi-oil voucher bribee, French President Jacques Chirac.
BIG PING!
“In 2000, Rashid Khalidi, a former PLO operative who justified Palestinian terrorism as contributing to political enlightenment, threw a fundraiser for his friend Barack Obama.
LA Times writer Peter Wallsten wrote about Barack Obamas close association with former Palestinian operative Rashid Khalidi back in April.
During the dinner a young Palestinian American recited a poem accusing the Israeli government of terrorism in its treatment of Palestinians and sharply criticizing U.S. support of Israel. If Palestinians cannot secure their own land, she said, then you will never see a day of peace.

. . . . Article, and comments.
Thanks, Fred Nerks.
I just watched the BOR interview with BO. When Bill asked him if he wanted the MB in power in Egypt, BO didn’t say “yes” or “no” but rather that the MB was only one faction in Egypt and that there are “some strains” that are anti U.S.
He said that he wanted a “representative government” and that there were a “whole bunch of folks” that want to come to the table.
To me, he made it sound like there were just a few that maybe had some unkind words to say about the U.S. but they weren’t the majority. Like someone saying that they’re some kids wanting to blow off some steam. Only their steam will kill us.
So, BO met with them before and will continue to meet with them because they’re not a threat to him. Just to us.
