Last Spring in New Orleans, Jonathan Martin and I picked up a very clear sentiment from Republican activists about Sarah Palin, reporting from the Southern Republican Leadership conference that "the wide admiration for Palin among the rock-ribbed Dixie Republicans gathered in the room wasn't matched by a confidence that she was ready to run."
Jeff Zeleny picks up something very similar at the Reagan Library this weekend:
Roy Billings, a Reagan admirer and a longtime contributor to the [Young America's Foundation], said he liked Ms. Palin a great deal, but he hoped that she would not run for president in 2012.
I think shes a good person, Mr. Billings said. Maybe shes got potential to be the president someday, but not now. Theres too many people who dont relate to her.

Is there ANY FEMALE candidate you DO LIKE??? You’ve already TRASHED all the others..
MOTION FOR ZOT!
You’re obsessed. Seriously, you have this mind numbing tunnel vision about her. It’s becoming a sickness. I’m OCD and even I’ve never fixated on something the way you fixate on her. For someone who doesn’t consider her a viable candidate you sure see that she’s discussed more than anyone else on this board. Give it a rest. Find articles that promote your candidate and show his/her presidential qualities/positions/etc. Be proactive not reactive. Or just let go and let God.

Unfortunately some on FR will try to help.......
Pissy must be quite proud of himself in the attempt to dispirit and divide.
This just shows that the US Presidential elections have become nothing more than popularity contests and have nothing to do with actual issues. We deserve what we get. As it is, we don’t deserve a President like Sarah. She’s too good for us.
“Politico” should not be treated as an objective political communications organ. They are naught but a shill spinner for Obama & his hate America ilk!!! Truth is, their readership & response is dropping rapidly. Witness the low numbers on their “daily poll”!!! The fools have done themselves in!!!
I don’t think so.
She’s a woman...
I will vote for Sarah, of course she is more qualified than Obama.
Sarah needs a good speech coach. I’m sorry, but she talks too much and too fast. since her VP acceptance, I have not seen her captivate an audience. They may be fired up as conservatives but she does not control a venue as did Reagan, and that is a major item to work on.
Ah! The Politico. Very good. For me then, the issue is completely settled. When Politico tells me why I shouldn’t support a conservative candidate, I know I can put that in the bank.
Thank Goodness for The Politico.
I take her over anyone that is floating around at the moment for the conservative side
I’ll say. Around 90% of them were on the journOlist list. They are sloshing around in the bowl with the National Enquirer.
How do you get something to flash on and off like that??

Continuing to divide and conquer the right from our own Palin hating pissant.
Wonder what will be said when the articles are posted about John McCain not supporting Palin in 2012?
Palin attracts the delusional from both her detractors and supporters. Someday I hope we can discuss and debate where she stands on the issues...no one seems to want to do this with Palin
And this comes from someone who “is developing hard on for Michelle Bachmann”
>>> Continuing to divide and conquer the right from our own Palin hating pissant. <<<
That pretty much sums it up.
I can’t remember right now just which tyrannous dictator said something about telling a lie often enough and long enough that everyone will believe it... but he was right. If people keep telling the world that Sarah either isn’t qualified or simply can’t be elected they’ll finally succeed in bringing her down.
But they should be forewarned: They need to provide someone else just as good or better than she is or get used to another four years of the Obamanation. I, for one - and I think there’s a lot of us out there - am tired of choosing between Socialist ‘A’ and Socialist ‘B’ every four years. If, as a result of all these negative opinions forced onto us by a legion of “usefull idiots”, we are given a choice of Obama and ________ (insert name of loser RINO here) in 2012, I will either stay at home or write in the name of the only candidate I feel is capable of turning this once great country around. At this time that candidate is Sarah Palin. Show me a better one and you’ll get my support. Right now there aren’t any that I’d support.
To me, “Winning the Future” is Palin/Cain 2012. Just my opinion.
Can’t we just let the process work itself out and have they chips fall where they may?
Bottom line is that there is going to be several that enter the primaries and will be reduced to a small contingent as time goes by and the voters will be allowed to choose who that nominee will be.
Conservatives WILL vote for their guy and the Libs with their guy, and the indy’s will decide the election. Who, BTW have by and large been lost by oblunder.
