If its not too much trouble and there is a ping list here, please add my handle. I am not a veteran, one of my few regrets, both of my brothers and dad were vets and I have a profound respect for our service men and women from all branches. My brother Pat was KIA in SVN in 1968.

Rest in Peace, fallen brother, rest in peace! We who remain hold you in high honor. Rest, fallen brother, in this sacred precinct; We who remain keep this place sacred. Rest, fallen brother, among these, your comrades; We who remain keep the watch. Rest, fallen brother, among these who answered the Nations call; We who remain press the fight forward in your name. Rest, fallen brother, lay down thy burden; We who remain have taken up the torch. Rest in Peace, fallen brother, rest in eternal peace!

Aloha again Night Owl!
Mauna Kea still has snow but the temps down here at sea level nearly hit 80 today, so don't expect it to last much longer.
Know that my thoughts are with you and your Dad and hoping for the best.

No snow days. And the kids are mostly showing up. There was a little dusting this morning. It’s mostly just a mess from the pile-ups. I’ve been leaving the car home and taking the bus. There’s no place to park at work — even when I had a spot in the rotation last month, my spot was filled past the point where I could’ve shoveled it out.
