A group of angry Egyptian men carjacked an ABC News crew and threatened to behead them today in the latest and most menacing attack on foreign reporters trying to cover the anti-government uprising.

There are many people warning of world wide spikes in food prices. Glenn Beck talks about it endlessly, too.

I tend to believe them. And there really is little the average person can do but put aside some extra non-perishable food if you can afford it and have the space. There are threads here on FR dedicated to such things.
