Ditto to ABOUT TIME. Now the Federal Judge in Fla needs to hold the Obama Administration in contempt for ignoring his ruling on Deathcare.

From the article:
On Wednesday, he ordered the federal agency to pay attorneys’ fees for several offshore oil companies.
Here's the sticky part: OUR taxdollars will be used to pay the attorney fees.

Why should I, an innocent bystander, be forced to pay for the Interior Department's illegal screwups?

IMHO, a better solution would be jail time for the perps.

And what is the downside to this? If I were held in contempt, I would go to jail or pay a fine.

A government agency is inconvenienced exactly how?

Coming on the heels of Vinson's Obamacare decision, it will be more difficult for the Journolist media to ignore Hussein's lawlessness.

Sorry, not in the slightest.
In fact, look for a pile of "lawless Bush Administration" stories, coming soon to a Democrat newsroom near you.

And sue the Interior Department for the economic losses incurred during the idle time.

Since you and underwrite the Interior Department, the only way for this to be effective is to reduce the budget of the department in question to settle the debt. Preferably starting with the paychecks of people in high positions.

Point of order! The crAP article doesn’t mention Texas or the EPA anywhere. Judge Feldman’s decision seems to only be about the drilling moratorium edict handed down from one of odinga’s politburo apparatchiks. Just wondering if I missed something...

Indeed. An additional or alternative plan would be to take what ever amounts are paid out, out of the interior department's budget.

And the Obama regime will be in contempt again when they defy yet another judge and press forward with ObamaCare. What’s new?

The deepwater drilling occurs in federal waters, mostly due south of Cajun Land.

Ok, thanks for the update. Does the fact that the drilling occurs in “federal waters” make it more valid for the Interior Department to ignore the ruling of a Federal Appeals court??

The EPA wants to take back environment regulation in Texas, from TCEQ, so that it can squash ALL heavy industry in Texas. On the water, on the land... anywhere. It’s just same sh!t, different day in zero’s kingdom.

And where do their budgetary funds come from? US!

Again I say, jail time would be more appropriate and would create a lasting impression.
