DeGeneres should be the one to bring it up in public, but she doesn’t strike me as a boat rocker, even for something as important to all of our lives as this. Her brand is “personable”. Like Obama’s used to be for oh, a week or two during his campaign.

altura, you've been here slightly longer than I so you know that FreeRepublic isn't exactly "free". You know that if you don't toe the "gays should be burned at the stake" line you risk getting your account banned.
Seems to me calling people “haters” is a personal attack but I guess you don’t have a problem with that.
It’s a darned good thing Vinson was more interested in what Obama said than whom he said it to, otherwise he would have ignored Obama’s words because the DeGeneres is gay. Personally, I thought using Obama’s own argument against Obamacare was a brilliant stroke and became an instant fan.

That's the problem with the homosexual political agenda. They have aggressively made it everbody's business. As a Christian, I am called to love all people including homosexuals. That means I love them enough to see they are hurting themselves and everybody else with their lifestyle. Disease, promiscuity, broken families and violent crime follow in their wake. The media's attempt to normalize it is particularly insidious as we are treated to images and stories of happy wholesome heroic homosexuals saving the world from knuckle dragging mouth breathing "haters" who value the traditional family.
Steven Tyler a long haired rock star (so I have learned) replaced Degeneris as a judge on American Idol. He has proven to be a very rational and well spoken individual and by comparison Degeneris is shown to be lacking in intellect
She is a person who sins, the same as you and me. She needs redemption in Jesus Christ, the same as you and me.
