Corn is a diehard leftist. The 'bither' movement is alive and well! Barry Soetoro will stand down and not run in 2012!

How could the Arizona law block Hussein's re-election — unless he is in fact not eligible?

There really is only one reason to hide a sitting President’s birth certificate, and Identity Theft ain’t it.

If he proves to be not qualified to run, what impact does that have on legislation he signed while in office?

The birthers have a plan? How stupid is that? Why wouldn't every American want the president to be legally eligible to serve?

That's what boggles my mind, that the demonRats are so determined to have a socialist in the White House that they will stop at nothing to accomplish their nefarious goals. They are evil.

From Mr. Corn:

“But what if a candidate does not have a long-form version of his or her birth certificate, and the state where he or she was born could not locate a copy—say, it was lost in a fire, or simply misfiled?”

Yeah, but what if a candidate spent over a million dollars in legal fees to keep people from pursuing a long-form version, instead of just telling us it was lost in a fire, or simply misfiled?

Mr. Corn had better be careful, or someone will start to refer to him as a “birther” - it’s obvious that he doesn’t expect a long-form birth certificate to show up, and he’s already lining up his excuses to try to deal with that problem.

Liberals get loud and insulting when they are afraid and threatened. Eligibility laws should have no impact at all on people who can prove their eligibility. But it will impact Barry.

The Left would only see this as a plot to deny Obama reelection if they believe he can’t produce the actual proof that he’s eligible. So then, why oppose it if they believe he’s legally the president? If they believe as Corn says he believes...that Obama is the rightful and legal holder of the office...the bill to prove birth citizenship will have no impact on Obama at all.

a diabolically clever plan that could be thwarted only by the near impossible task of a candidate providing his birth certificate

But David, if Zero would just show his long form, the birther plan to block Zero's re-election would fail.

The article is great but it fails to mention the key benefit of such a law in AZ. Rather than “serving as a model for other states” the main benefit would be forcing the Natural Born Citizenship issue. If Obama cannot (or more likely could not) produce a birth certificate for AZ, the obvious question would be why he could not, and the whole issue would blow up as a big news story. No reasonable person could ignore the issue. So all we need is one state to pass a law like this.

It is much more than just the BC.

Transcripts?
SSN?
Passport(s)?
...and a hundred other issues.

This guy is a black-box. Absolutely nothing is known about him.

AZ and other states need to get this passed ASAP. The laws need to be detailed cause they will try to skirt them.

The Birthers cannot block Obama’s reelection as long as Obama can prve he is indeed a natural born citizen.

If Obama cannot prove it, then he has always been inelgible and should face prosecution for fraud upon the American people.

Care to wager a $100 donation to Free-Republic that 0bama will not be on the ballot in 2012?

0bama will receive the electoral repudiation he has coming in 2012; and he will certainly be on the ballot. Bet on it!

Do you care to bet against it?

I wanted to read this article to see if the author could generate a reason for Obama to not produce a irth certificate. The closest he came had to do with the possibility that the original long form was “lost.”

All this time we had been told it wasn’t an issue. Now even Obama’s biggest rah-rah is implicitly admitting that Obama may not be willing to release the LFBC even with a state’s electoral votes on the line.

AT NO TIME IS THERE EVEN AN ATTEMPT TO PROVIDE A LEGITIMATE REASON TO AVOID RELEASING THE DOCUMENT.

I doubt any state that Baraq could plausibly win in 2012 voting will keep him off the ballot.
The states that may disqualify him are ones he wouldn’t win anyway.
