Vice President says unemployed should ‘hang in there’

Yahoo! asked Vice President Joe Biden Thursday to give some good advice for the unemployed. He provided a list of recent improvements to the economy, while expressing sympathy for those struggling to get by without a regular income.
"So the message is 'hang in there?'" Yahoo!'s Anna Robertson asked.
"The message is hang in there," he repeated.
Republicans gained traction in last year's election by asking "where are the jobs?" and highlighting Americans' dissatisfaction with the economy. GOP Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin also made the jobs question as the focus of his State of the Union response this week.
But in Thursday's interview, Biden stressed that the recovery of the labor economy would be slow and gradual--even though the GOP has harnessed widespread impatience with that view for political gain.
"Things are coming back," Biden said, after noting that the unemployment rate is now dropping "minimally," businesses are investing, banks are lending, and companies are gaining confidence.

It is easy for people with jobs to say that. Makes me want those people to lose theirs and everything they have.
The interesting about losing a job or those in a rut is that one finds out who their friends really are.

If the various trillion dollar plus stimulous packages the National Socialist Democrat Party shoved up our backsides over the last two years worked then why should anyone have to “hang in there”? Biteme and the rest of these worthless thieves have lied over and over about how they have created millions of jobs and that the stimulous packages have worked. If they worked you moron then why is unemployment going up and why would we have to “hang in there”.

I noted that he no longer pushes the “shovel ready jobs” BS. Their idea of “shovel ready” seems to be to sentence all of the unemployed out into the fields with shovels and pickaxes to dig ditches or create dams, etc like Stalin did in the 30s in the old Soviet Union. I’m betting that is still their ultimate goal.
