From FOX:
DEVELOPING: Loud explosions and gunfire were heard in the Egyptian capital of Cairo Friday, as protesters demanding the removal of President Hosni Mubarak defied a curfew, Al Jazeera reported. Egyptian television reports the ruling party headquarters in Cairo are on fire.

I don’t know about you, but I certainly was NOT very innocent during those times!
Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman on Sunday commented on the unrest in Egypt, saying: "This is the best illustration what we have been claiming for years - the Israeli-Palestinian [conflict] is not the main cause of instability among the moderate Arab countries."
"The conflict is under control - there is no connection between it and what's happening in Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt or Yemen," Lieberman told the ultra-Orthodox newspaper, Herald, according to Army Radio.
He added that the Quartet would discuss recent events in Egypt next week.
Prophetic.
coming out of luke mode to say that now I must go get a brillo pad and scrub my brain to get that image OUT of it...lol!
Huh. Funny, some of the participants say otherwise.
luke=lurk, of course
Remember the Miracle on Ice? The only good thing I can recall about that demoralizing period in our history.
it really was prophetic and we all knew it was, we knew it would come to that.

Eeegads- it sounds like Bahgdad Bob...
WOAH, just now on FOX, live machinegun fire in Cairo now
” live machinegun fire in Cairo now “
What time is it in Cairo?? Close to midnight??
Yup. 12:08 a.m.
Any idea where in Cairo?
(Remember ther are lots of vigilantes about trying to defend their neighbourhoods against looting. Gun fire does not have to be the army vs the demonstrators, but.....)
Going out on a limb and suggesting the average Egyption neighborhood watch does not have machien guns....... LOL but no...they did not indicate the location, but the picture on the live feed was that park ElBaradai spoke in
Thanks 444! Sad, that this may be Egypts future. Sad, for them, for Israel, for us, and the entire region.
This is very upsetting... especially the “we” part.
