Yeah....I watched it all the way through, finding nothing truthful save spending in excess, relevant to the current condition of the state of the union and nothing inspiring. There's that old mot, 'if you're not part of the solution, you're the part of the problem'.

I had to set the thread up 3 times before it would post. Each time I hit Post and it refused to connect, it ate all the code. Set it up again, same issue. Finally posted and then it went down again. Rough start...LOL!

There are a few things that fascinate me; the weather, science, history and time. Politics infuriates me since it is currently manipulating all of my interests for personal gain and profit. However this manipulation is absorbed into my knowledge and memory so in some way it may be beneficial in the future to pass on.....a warning to those who'll heed it.

Fat chance of that happening with today's youth (although my son is coming around and not thinking I'm a dinosaur any more). Knowledge can't be gained if it's denied and kept hidden.

Never thought it was a particularly brave thing to do....actually I was trying to avoid it. I was trying to get to the Canteen for a more pleasant evening.

~ Today...Snow and rain. Snow accumulation around an inch.
Highs in the mid 30s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.

~ Tonight...Snow...Mainly in the evening. Total snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches.
Lows in the upper 20s. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow near 100 percent.

You Are Nurturing

First, don't know if we have any Russian Canteeners or Lurkers but I wanted to pass along my sympathies to those injured or who lost a loved one in the blast.

Second, I wanted to remind our Aussie brothers and sisters being affected by the floods that they are in my thoughts and prayers. Yell, if we can help in some way.

Finally, have to make my rounds quickly this morning.
Don't know when we might have to leave as most of the snow is to start later this afternoon - right about evening rush hour.
The temps are above freezing right now, so it is mostly rain with some snow mixed in.

Please stay right where you are if you can and keep the troops company.
