As usual, when the GAO is fed garbage, it faithfully spits out garbage. What would be the cost of open shenanigans?

My son is in the Air Force. Over 20. Yikes! I’m getting old. He was telling me how they throw people out these days for almost anything. I couldn’t believe it. I’m not buying this bull**** GAO “report”. This is just propaganda to help push their homosexual agenda.

Those numbers are crap.
JAG officers (and overhead) are FIXED COSTS. Whether you discharge 1 or 100,000 for any reason whatsoever, the “cost” is the same.
This is true for all of government.

You signed up today to feed us with this left wing bile? There is no cost associated with the policy. The costs are created by homosexuals lying their way into the ranks, then rump riding against the rules.

LOS (Load Of SH!T). The GAO is a joke because it is only allowed to use the numbers and accounting practices as directed by Congress. If Congress tells them a UFO will land and give us a trillion dollars they must use that number. Therefore, the Democrats gave them a bunch of junk numbers to crunch and the end result is this LOS.
We must remember how the GAO report stated a savings for nationalized health care. That was done because the Dims shoveled a load of garbage at the GAO and they, by law, had to use those fake numbers.

So does the GAO have an estimate of what the new rainbow camouflage colored military is going to cost taxpayers?
Of course not! They have no idea what the unintended consequences, and costs, are going to be. Will there be seperate housing and berthing issues? Will additional toilet facilities need to be constructed? The list is endless!
And as far as replacing those who were outed...what about those who aren't going to volunteer any longer or reenlist because of this boondoggle? I would be willing to bet that those costs are going to far outweigh the ones that have been seen so far. It won't be in just a few "critical" jobs and will spread across the entire spectrum.
Oops... better not go any further! It doesn't fit with the narrative.
The leftists have found a simple way of neutering and destroying what was once the best military force in the world...which was their real intent all along.

I propose a solution to this shortfall.
Defund Planned Parenthood entirely. Government has no business being involved in any way, pro or con, between what goes on with a woman and her abortionist.

Of course we’ll never know the net cost - or maybe benefit - of the policy because the study didn’t look at the costs of the distractions, inefficiencies and personal conflicts which were avoided with the policy in place......
To: Slippery Jim
Had they "asked" on enlistment, the cost could have been avoided completely. If the enlistee lied, he could be discharged later for that. No need for a lot of cost.

How many druggies were bounced out? The cost of each new hire to use 0b0z0’s words was an investment. A drug free service man/woman is an investment versus a druggie.
Now our military can’t discharge open homosexuals, we as taxpayers will be picking up the cost of housing and medical care for their serial partners.
Then, when the number of aids cases explode with the active duty gays and their serial sexual partners, it will cost about $100,000 per year for each identified aids case.
There will be no disclosure of present aids or other serious medical problems of the new dependents, and those costs will be budget breakers for the military in a few years.
Last but not least, any druggie or loser on active duty will holler discrimination when the military tries to get rid of them for not being a good soldier/sailor/marine/airman/coastie. So the bad stuff will stay on active duty as no one will dare get rid of the scum because of legal procedures against those trying to enforce the MCJ.
