T. PETERSBURG - Three law enforcement officers were shot this morning a U.S. Marshal and two St. Petersburg police officers in the 3700 block of 28th Avenue South, police said.
A suspected gunman is barricaded in a home at 3726 28th St. S., and police are trying to negotiate with his family members. He is still shooting at police, officers said.
One of the injured officers had been in the home as well, but an armored vehicle knocked down the door and the officer was evacuated. That officer has been taken to Bayfront Medical Center.

Thanks. I used to go to scan on line.

Sorry- it was fine a minute ago. They were talking about a homeland security vehicle- but I’m not clear if it was in ref to this incident or something different.
No coverage at the moment. Bay News 9 is interviewing a guy who is a P.I. He’s just hypothesizing. Maybe there’s a news blackout at the moment per LE.

Light the place up like they did with the SLA.

I’m guessing Hydra Lacy’s corpse will be removed from the property in time for the 4PM press conference.

Thank You for the update, SE Mom.
Thanks for update- can’t see anything now from Orlando- they turned streaming off awhile ago. Meanwhile- this tidbit is unsettling- looks as though someone unwittingly didn’t get the “paperwork” in order for the perp.

Carol Jewell, Christine Lacy’s sister, says the tragedy could have been avoided if officers had picked up Lacy in November, after he failed to show up in court on domestic violence charges.
Jewell said her sister told police that Lacy was at the 28th Avenue house, but they would not pick him up because they did not have a warrant.
Christine Lacy also told police that Lacy had been ordered to stay away from her, but they said they did not have the paperwork, Jewell said.
“After they left her, I took her to my house,’’ Jewell said. “If they had arrested him in November when we called police, he never would have been a fuguitive.’’
...
That's four dead cops in four days, in one state. Damn!
I heard a phone interview with Lacy’s wife’s sister on Fox13 this am which may be this same person. She said Lacy had beaten her sis so bad with multiple broken bones, broken jaw and internal injuries that the Dr wouldn’t let her return to work for six weeks.
The killer should have been picked up based upon that beating. Where’s Rick Scott’s new DCF chief? Wife’s sister is caucasian, bleach blonde hair.
Doctors are supposed to notify DCF after domestic violence. Just like Jared in Arizona, this Hydra creep should not have been loose.
He daid.
