Michelle is great, but she's riding on Sarah's coattails, not the other way around.

“This is the winter of Sarah Palins discontent. Her dont retreat, reload rhetoric blew up on her when Americans started fretting about heated political talk after an Arizona gunman shot a congresswoman and killed a federal judge.”
ROTFLOL....’Americans’ didn’t start ‘fretting’ about anything other than crazy people with guns. It was the press that started ‘fretting’ and desperately trying to tie the shooting with Sarah, the Tea Party and anyone else that ever uttered a conservative thought.
Stopped reading right there...not interested in more mainstream drivel and nazi/commie propaganda from our corrupted press. No offense.

For Bachmann to have a chance she’s going to have to have money and organization early. Romney has both in place in Iowa but Huckabarf proved that Romney can be beaten there. I have some doubts about Bachmann’s ability to campaign on a national level but I think she would present an appealing alternative to “others”.

Her dont retreat, reload rhetoric blew up on her They wish and doesn't the use of "blew up on her" constitute the use of "heated political talk"?

I applaud you for having the stomach to read something written in The Nation, a magazine so far to the left that it is now approaching on us on the right side.
This article is so full of wishful thinking and outright projection that it should have been published in Mad magazine, right after Spy vs. Spy.

Actually, I am thinking of this a more like a Tag Team! :-) Throw in Marsha Blackburn, Kristi Noem, and Nikki Haley, and the Lib/Progressives will be in a continuous state of agitation. :-)

Then [Palin] added insult to injury by trying to claim she was the real victim, of a blood libel. Her poll numbers now are lower than at any time since she came on the national scene, and when New Hampshire Republicans voted in a presidential straw poll at their annual meeting, only 7 percent picked Palin.
Sarah Palin tried to claim she is the “real victim” of the Tucson killings?!! That is absurd, sir. That is a BLOOD LIBEL against Sarah Palin.
To: pissant
Let’s be clear about all this.
1. Media gins up an immediate “frenzy” (before the number of victims was even counted) connecting a crazy man on a killing spree to the tone of political discourse.
2. Sarah Palin becomes the most “usual suspect” according to the chattering class.
3. Sarah Palin is removed from consideration as a Presidential contender as a result of 1 & 2.
Can they be any more contemptuous? Or transparent?

Nichols sounds like another 'RAT girlyman who wets his pants at the sound of Sarah Palin's name. I wouldn't give a hoot in hell for a presidential candidate who did not "reload" after being attacked by a bunch of commie girlymen attacking her and her family. Palin didn't cower in the corner when they started their bull**** "Tuscon" attack and they hate her even more for that. To me, Palin is a hero with more testicular fortitude than all of the Republican men in the House and Senate combined. Somebody has to stand up to the commie 'RATS and she's about the only American willing to do it.
I heard some "conservative" maggot call talk radio last week and say that Palin should take at least a little responsibility for the "Tuscon" shootings. What the hell is that? Is that like being a little bit pregnant? DemocRATS need to take responsibility for that wacked out pothead. Not Sarah Palin.

Her dont retreat, reload rhetoric blew up on her... But her rhetoric still fell far short of that dude who said: "If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun."
Now who was it that said that? And Palin's remark did not blow up on her; the low life propagandists in the MSM tried to blow it up on her.
