LOL! I saw a post yesterday where NY Cops have been issuing tickets to folks for improper parking because of snow left on the street. Might have something to do with that. Bloomberg makes me uneasy. And not just because he’s a gazillionaire.

I'm a Giants Fan too. I was at the '56 Championship Game where the Giants Beat the Bears 47-7, and also at a bunch of other games Giant Fans like to remember. And I've never officially recognized the entry of the Jets into the League.
Still, I have lots of friends who are Jet Fans. So I wish them well. (And I also think Eli Manning sucks, and have been trying to work a trade for Sanchez for a couple of years now.)

I think that if you search my posts here, you will see that I have suggested that in more normal political times, Bloomberg would be in exile now.

I understand. I am a lifelong Rams fan. I repeatedly have to point out to Cowboys fans, that far from being "America's Team," the Dallas Cowboys are but one of many expansion teams. My boundary line was the integration of the AAFC ... Browns, Colts, etc. Since the AAFC started winning championships from year one, they were a legitimate second league.

Dallas Cowboys are but one of many expansion teams Funny about the Cowboys. They are responsible for the only Jets games I ever attended. But it was a Titans game. When the Cowboys entered the league, they were the 13th team so every team had a bye that year. And the week the Giants had a bye, a friend of mine had comp tickets to the AFL NY Titans vs Billy Cannon and the Houston Oilers. But the Oilers are the Titans now!

PS I was close to an invite to the game in Pittsburgh on Sunday, but the late start sort of put the kibosh on that.

I was at the '56 Championship Game where the Giants Beat the Bears 47-7As a Bears fan, I much preferred the 1963 rematch. Sorry about that blood on your head, Mr. Tittle.

the 1963 rematch I didn't have tickets and that game was blacked out in NY. During the regular season the blacked out home games were carried by CBS, and their nearest affiliate was in Hartford. I grew up about 20 miles east of NYC where we couldn't get the Hartford signal. But bars about 30 miles further east could so we (my father and I) would go out there to watch if we didn't go to the game.
For some reason NBC had the Championship Game and their nearest affiliates were in Providence and Philadelphia. So we got in the car Sunday morning and drove down to Camden, NJ (close enough to Philly). The funny thing was that the NJ Turnpike had very heavy traffic that day. All the cars seemed to have three or four guys in them.
And BTW, I met YA traveling in France back in the 70s. Very nice guy.
