Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie suggested in an interview published today that a long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Barack Obama may not exist within the vital records maintained by the Hawaii Department of Health.
Abercrombie told the Honolulu Star Advertiser he was searching within the Hawaii Department of Health to find definitive vital records that would prove Obama was born in Hawaii, because the continuing eligibility controversy could hurt the president's chances of re-election in 2012.

Congressman Darryl Issa is quoted today as saying no “birther” investigations for him.
From an article published in the latest issue of the New Yorker Magazine:
Issa has tried to draw a line separating events that he considers appropriate subjects for investigation and those which he deems inappropriate. He has criticized his predecessors for wasting time looking into matters involving the Clintons that predated their arrival at the White House, such as the Whitewater and cattle-futures episodes. “These are items that occurred before the President was elected,” Issa told me. “I would not have viewed them as particularly significant.” He added that issues involving Obama’s past are also off limits, such as “the birther question.” Implicit in this rule is that his past should also be left undisturbed.
“Darrell’s sensitive about fixating too much on his past,” Bardella said. “Obviously, the stuff that happened . . .” His voice trailed off. “We can talk about it, as well we should. It is part of his past, but it does make him somewhat wary.”

All I know is that Lingle does not have any first-hand knowledge of what the long-form says, because she has not seen it herself.
It is getting to be too late to do much about the current term of the usurper, but it doesn’t mean we can’t prevent him from being reelected.

Yes, my point was that Lingle cannot say anything about what the document says, because she has not seen the document herself. She can say what she said to Dr. Fukino and what Dr. Fukino, and then we get into hearsay Rules of Evidence stuff.
There has been recent posts by a kenyan that was born a month before Obama. it was in the same hospital claimed. The Registrar was the same as the claimed obama BC(from kenya). I don’t have a link but maybe someone here has it. In any event, Kenya had Certified records going back to 1961. Hawaii should be much further along at that point. kenya, not so much.

You say Grandma Maddy Dunham inserted a forged Obama BC into the government records by bribing Hawaiian official(s) in 1961 because she was an influential and corrupt bank VP. It should an excellent forgery since you say she had inside help. It should fool everyone. So why can't OberCommie find this super good fraudulent Obama long form birth certificate? The only thing Crummy Commie has found is some scribble somewhere with Obama's name on it. LoL.
That explanation doesn’t work. I have asked to see the original handwritten ledger (1961 birth index) and after much ado was told that all it ever had on it was a location for a file so they destroyed it without bothering to ask permission to destroy it (in spite of the permanent retention requirement) or leaving any records that they destroyed it.
Sort of like they claim happened with the passport applications for just the time period when Ann Dunham/Obama/Soetoro’s relevant passport applications would have been from. Never mind that other applications from the same time period still exist.
And in any event, Fukino claimed that she saw the actual “vital records” - and conveniently forgot to mention that they are not legally valid (as the HDOH indirectly confirmed).

Ever since we did some spring cleaning back in 2008, we haven’t been able to find that silly birth certificate. Ain’t that strange? It gotta be around here somewhere.

T’was not a legal Hawaiian Birth if new Mommies state for all to hear, including myself, outside Hawaii that her new born was born in another state, in Europe or in Africa.
Which I personally overheard several times during the 1960’s.
Just thought I’d add a first hand in person account to the mix on this Issue?
Also, Barack Obama was born during the very time period that the American People really fell in love with JFK on TV during his extraordinary televised live Preidential News Conferences. Greatly inspiring new Mommies and Daddies to groom their new offspring to be President of the United States someday.
