Hawaii governor can't find Obama birth certificate

Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie suggested in an interview published today that a long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Barack Obama may not exist within the vital records maintained by the Hawaii Department of Health.

Abercrombie told the Honolulu Star Advertiser he was searching within the Hawaii Department of Health to find definitive vital records that would prove Obama was born in Hawaii, because the continuing eligibility controversy could hurt the president's chances of re-election in 2012.

Donalyn Dela Cruz, Abercrombie's spokeswoman in Honolulu, ignored again yesterday another in a series of repeated requests made by WND for an interview with the governor.

Toward the end of the interview, the newspaper asked Abercrombie: "You stirred up quite a controversy with your comments regarding birthers and your plan to release more information regarding President Barack Obama's birth certificate. How is that coming?"

In his response, Abercrombie acknowledged the birth certificate issue will have "political implications" for the next presidential election "that we simply cannot have."

Suggesting he was still intent on producing more birth records on Obama from the Hawaii Department of Health vital records vault, Abercrombie told the newspaper there was a recording of the Obama birth in the state archives that he wants to make public.

The real certificates of live birth I've seen
(1) have only one seal; and
(2) have a raised seal (which rises out of one side of the paper), not an embossed seal (which rises out of both sides of the paper).

Did you see what that asswipe hippy did the first thing after getting into the Governors office? He catered to the Unions for their raises and retirement to the tune of costing us 18 million in just this year. Then it goes up in the future. Hawaii is hurting really bad and the first thing he does to us is help the unions screw us.

So this tells me that Obama definitely wasn't born at a Hawaiian Hospital.

So where was he born? And who was his real father? Was Stanley Ann Dunham even his real mother?

I don't know if there's another interview but it sure looks like WND is lying factually wrong about what was actually said in The Star Advertiser interview.

He never says the record can't be or has not been found.

If you read the interview as posted at the link above, he says he is told it exists in the archives.

Hmmm, Dr Fukino saw the original vital records. Good. She does not specifically say that the records are of Hawaiian original. I believe that it is not required that an individual be born in Hawaii to obtain a certification of live birth. If that’s true, the original certificate could be from anywhere, including Kenya. I’m sure others are more informed than I on the specifics. Please feel free to correct...

Actually Dr. Fukino did say that the records show that Obama was born in Hawaii and she then proclaims him to be a
“natural born American citizen.”

Or ? that the " notation " in the state's archives does not specify that he was born in Hawaii ... no definitive proof.

According to a article at the website ( Westernjournalism.com ) called ( Clearing the Smoke on Obama’s Eligibility ) at the time Obama was supposed, or should we use the word allegedly born in 1961, the laws were so lax in Hawaii that even a baby born in another state and or another country ( Kenya ) could have been registered in Hawaii as a Hawaiian birth.
