No offense to the good people of Idaho. I just remember that there was a huge compound (camp?) near there where the W.S. would gather/commune.
So the bomber was on Spring break two years ago?
“Why would a city with only 3% blacks have a MLK parade?”
“white guilt?”
Well, there just may be some white folk who respect and want to honor Dr. King for his work to bring about desegragation and help passing the Civil Rights Acts.
Yah... but... I’m not so sure. The Aryan Nations folk have been pretty invisible for the last decade or so. If there’s even any left.
While they’re at it... check out the area mosques.
My first experience with Racism was in Spokane when I was in Pre-school. Me and my Brother went to a christian day care and it was a black minister and his wife who was white. One day we came to school and there was police there and some ass-hats had written racist things on the walls out side. That was the day I was taught never to hate any one for their color. But in my life I have seen it reversed more then what I saw in Spokane. It is sad to witness that then in the past 25 years see it turned around on us. Racism is wrong no matter who the perp is.
+1
I’ll take “agent provocateur” for $200, Alex
They are long gone.
SEATTLE TIMES.com: "BOMB FOUND ON SPOKANE PARADE ROUTE WAS LETHAL, FBI SAYS" by Thomas Clouse, The Spokesman-Review (SNIPPET: "The bureau's terrorism task force is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for planting the bomb.") It’s just that I live near Indy, which is over 25% black, and I’ve never heard of any parade on MLK day there, or anywhere for that part.
Post Traumatic Seahawk Syndrome
doesn’t pass the smell test. sounds like a set-up.
I googled that phrase exactly and didn’t see any other pictures with that T-shirt in it. It wasn’t quite any number of things that turned up — the “Treasure Island Music Festival 2009”, for example — and of course could be something that didn’t. So that ends my personal little investigation.
The additional text on the T-shirt that isn’t legible in that photo is certainly going to give them more of an idea what event it was, and of course the reason they’re showing it in the first place is for other people who attended whatever it was to call them and give them details of the event, maybe get pictures, etc.
Here’s another article with the official FBI “your assistance is requested” poster as a PDF. They say that there was even more stuff than those two shirts in the backpack.

The PDF has a bigger version of the same picture of the T-shirts, so now that text looks like “(something) (something) Theatre Group Presents Treasure Island 2009”. So that will take them right to the place on that one.
oops that would be Theatre School

Not saying there are no crazy people around here, but to my knowledge most of the supremacist stereotype is only lore anymore.
