I follow these threads and rarely comment because it's a waste of time to try and convince people they are wasting their time trying to put Obama in a corner on this issue.

Congress, SCOTUS isn't going to do anything about this, even a GOP lead congress.

The resulting political fallout is simply to great a risk since NOBODY knows what will happen, so it is the 250,000 volt electric high powered line nobody goes near.

That being said, it will be very interesting to see how the administration handles this question if Obama wins the Democratic nod for 2012

Their answer will be "He already was POTUS so the question is moot" which is really a lame answer

Oh' please spare me the multiple long winded explanations why he is not eligible, I personally think he was born in Hawaii but before they became a state and is not eligible to be POTUS but nothing is going to change the fact he is.

The main point of all of this, as far as I’m concerned, is that we the people need to have a way to make sure that bureaucrats, media, and law enforcement don’t repeatedly LIE to us as has been done with Obama’s case, and that the judiciary doesn’t continuously tell us that nobody has standing to have a case heard as long as government screws us all equally.

What has happened with Obama serves to show us how deeply corrupt all our systems are. If that is going to change it’s got to happen through the states. Darrell Issa isn’t going to do it; he needs good press too much.

The states need to hold each other accountable so we don’t have corrupt hell-holes like Chicago and Hawaii spreading their corruption out onto the whole country.

And the states need to do what the feds will never truly do because the pols and media all sleep together in one big orgy. Funny how they sleep together but the ones who get screwed are the ones who never asked to be part of the orgy: we the people.

And this issue gives us the opportunity to show the feds that we are serious about not taking the crap they have been feeding us. Please see http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2656925/posts . By cracking this issue open we can tell government, media, law enforcement, and the courts that we’re not buying the crap they’re selling. We see the corruption and we WILL be heard and obeyed, one way or another.

At this point it’s not even about getting Obama ousted. It’s about keeping him and his handlers from ever doing this to us again. Keeping the Axelrods and Soroses of the world from being able to do their Chicago garbage on the rest of the country would do a lot to restore the credibility of government and a much more “civil” tone.

But it could begin the unravelling of his most-likely fabricated biography.

That's the first time I've heard that argument. I would note that Barry Goldwater was born in in Arizona before it became a state, so by your theory he wasn't eligible either.

And I'm sure the Dems were waiting to use the "not eligible" argument against John McCain if he had won, since he was born in Panama.

This is about defending the Constitution and the rule of law.

Regardless of the chances of success, defending the Constitution and the rule of law is worth the effort. The issue is much larger than just Obama. Fundamentally without the rule of law the Constitution we **will** become a banana republic.

If the courts, the legislature, the highest military leadership, and the media ( conservative and Marxist) can deliberately overlook blatant corruption and literal theft of the White House, and then flick their slicker than snot boogers at the American people and tell them that they have “no standing”,...well... then this republic is in serious trouble...BECAUSE...the corruption will not stop with just Obama.

I proudly stand with the patriots who are defending the Constitution and rule of law. I think those who are merely focused on what is expedient and the next election are a fungus on the soul of America.

Wouldn't it be much more convenient and easy to go back and play Ostrich again and POP your head in the sand???

So, what date of birth do you attribute to him? Hawaii achieved statehood on 1959-08-21. So, you've got a few months to fudge around with there, but you do have to produce evidence!

And, remember, even if he was born in Hawaii before it was even a US territory, he's still eligible because his mother was a US citizen not validly married to the bigamist Kenyan sperm donor. So, even if you win your before they became a state point, you still lose!
