Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie suggested in an interview published yesterday that a long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Barack Obama may not exist within the vital records maintained by the Hawaii Department of Health.

Donalyn Dela Cruz, Abercrombie's spokeswoman in Honolulu, ignored again yesterday another in a series of repeated requests made by WND for an interview with the governor.
Toward the end of the interview, the newspaper asked Abercrombie: "You stirred up quite a controversy with your comments regarding birthers and your plan to release more information regarding President Barack Obama's birth certificate. How is that coming?"
In his response, Abercrombie acknowledged the birth certificate issue will have "political implications" for the next presidential election "that we simply cannot have."

I think that stategy has been considered, and rejected.
This controversy has allowed Obama to paint his critics as nut jobs, has allowed him to divide his opposition by segregated them into two groups, Birthers and Normal People, and has all of elected Republicans on the run.
In short, he's VERY happy with things as they are.
Regardless of the chances of success, defending the Constitution and the rule of law is worth the effort. The issue is much larger than just Obama. Fundamentally without the rule of law the Constitution we **will** become a banana republic.
If the courts, the legislature, the highest military leadership, and the media ( conservative and Marxist) can deliberately overlook blatant corruption and literal theft of the White House, and then flick their slicker than snot boogers at the American people and tell them that they have “no standing”,...well... then this republic is in serious trouble...BECAUSE...the corruption will not stop with just Obama.
I proudly stand with the patriots who are defending the Constitution and rule of law. I think those who are merely focused on what is expedient and the next election are a fungus on the soul of America.
Why not find a dozen or so people who were born at the same time and at the same hospital(s)that Obama was born at. Have them ask for their long form birth certificates. Then publicize this event and force Abercrombie to respond.

Senator Obama was delivered by Dr. Babee at Kapiolani hospital located in Honolulu, Hawaii on the 4th of August 1961. The listed father on birth record is Barack Obama Sr and his mother is Stanley Ann Dunham Obama.
Furthermore, I will sign an notarized affidavit on the above statement that can be submitted to a court of law.
