“is unbecoming of a serious institution.”
Who’s he talking about? Certainly not the US Congress; the biggest collection of thieves, perverts, liars and tax cheats outside of prison.

I certainly pray that the Speaker of the House does not succumb to this foolishness. If he does, he will be robbing the one thing for which everyone in the Tea Party and much of the rest of this country, for that matter, have been steadfastly wishing these past two years.
We did not place Republicans in control of the US House on a whim. We put them there to STOP Obama and crush anything he has planned for this country in the next two years. He - Democrats - DO NOT DESERVE bipartisan cooperation - they deserved to be crushed politically. By 'sitting' with them, they dilute our power and they dilute the true visage of the message that we sent them from the polls last November.
We, true Amercians, deserve this sight. If you (Republicans) take it from us, you will have holy hell to pay at the ballot box come 2012. Proceed at your peril.

The only way the Reps should agree to this is, when they arrive, they all are wearing red blazers.

Hey Mark, you have been sitting “unbecomingly since 1999. Why do you feel the need to change things now?

Just the communist democrats pulling the wool over the eyes of those who do not see and can not hear useful idiots by pretending the “lets get along” scam.
Personally, I could not sit next to self avowed and proven by the “fruit of their ways” communist thieves and liars.

The Republicans are the STUPID and GULLIBLE Party. They must enjoy playing Charlie Brown to the Democrat's Lucy. Every time the Dems come up with something to diminish the Republican’s power, the Republicans fall for it again. WAKE UP GOP Senators and House members......they will pull the football as soon as they can! You all are an embarrassment to intelligent voters across the USA! We elected Republicans in huge numbers to STOP the Dem agenda, not to go along to get along. Please reconsider!

There are real differences of beliefs and philosophy. Should we have a touchy-feely embrace with DU? It sounds ridiculous.
But then our congresscritters rush to embrace the fad of the month. Let’s hope they think better of it.

Not only is this a visual cover for the losses of the Democrats in the last election, I think the Democrats hope they can shame the Republicans into standing up and clapping for everything Obama says. It will give the TV elite some pictures of the stodgy Republicans sitting while all around them people are applauding the President.
