Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has her own obsession with supposed right-wing conspiracies, going back to the days of her husband’s administration. But her continued attempt to attribute the insane actions of the mentally deranged alleged shooter Jared Loughner to political extremism and mentioning his actions in the same breath as al Qaeda is beyond the pale.
Clinton should recant at once. Otherwise, if President Obama really meant what he said in his Tuscon speech about moving beyond the finger-pointing rhetoric of the last few days, he must ask for his Secretary of State’s resignation.
Clinton’s disgraceful rhetoric started at the beginning of this week in the Middle East, when she equated “extremism” in this country, as supposedly demonstrated by the Arizona shooter, with extremism in the Arab world.
Unbowed, Clinton elaborated later in the week during an interview with CNN. Asked to explain the comments she had made about extremists and Jared Loughner, she continued to characterize what happened in Tuscon – without a shred of evidence – as criminal activity connected to extremist political views.
Here is an excerpt from her interview with CNN‘s Jill Dougherty:
QUESTION: On this trip, you’ve had some very interesting comments about extremists when you made that comparison between extremists in this region and extremists in the United States. You mentioned the man who unfortunately shot Congresswoman Giffords. Were you rushing to judgment on his motivations (inaudible) shooting people? And also, could you explain a little bit about what you meant by it?

If you want to refer to the president as “Obastard” I guess that’s fine too, but I think it’s creepy and unpatriotic, and I happen to actually understand the eligibility issue, and disbelieve Obama’s birth claims.

Our problem is that until very recently “we” have been LOSING ELECTIONS.
We have only recently retaken some ground because we have so miserably failed in our efforts that we have allowed our country to swing into a precipice... Which scared the living heck out of people.
I don’t think using language like yours in this forum or on a national level promotes conservative agendas. Do you? Carter was a truly awful President, but did Reagan call HIM “evil?” Are ALL leftists evil? Elie Weisel is a leftist, and I disagree with his politics, but I don’t think he’s evil. Israelis are generally leftists. Are they all evil?
So why do we lose elections?
I think it’s in no small part because so many small minded, hateful fools under our banner fail to understand what constitutional conservatism is really about, and they really are more interested in name-calling and self-righteous posing than they are in communicating, and inspiring others to understand, core Constitutional ideals of individual liberty under G-d.
In other words, little one, people like you are a big part of the reason Obama is our president.

Lack of courage and conservative principles, and acting on them is what has made Rs lose elections, not lack of politeness and civility. Kowtowing to and making nice with Evil leftists is what has lost Rs elections, not being too harsh. Not being harsh enough - in the sense of speaking strongly - has lost Rs elections.
I am not saying every single solitary person who believes leftist garbage is Evil. But those promoting and pushing are definitely Evil, and all leftist agendas are Evil. And stupid people who vote for leftists are helping Evil so what does that make them? Assistants to Evil.

0bama means what he says at that particular moment. A reporter spoke of 0bama gesturing for him to write the words just spoken as true, even after the reporter asked a follow up question, because those were the words spoken at the time.
If you recall, a John Q. Public wanted 0bama to recite the Pledge of Allegiance while on the 2008 campaign town hall tour. What you CANNOT find anymore, anywhere, is the point at which, just after being forced to recite the Pledge, 0bama specifically quipped, “You happy now?” in a sarcastic voice. That part has now been edited out/disappeared from the public record, and, so will be erased from memory over time......That fellow was swarmed by 0bama operatives continually after standing up to 0bama. And, further, the elimination of the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance was tried several times this past election season—by Democrats.
