Ruh-Roh. This can’t end well… Krauthammer disagreed with Rush Limbaugh’s view of the Obama speech last night saying he has “a condescending view of much of America.”

Krauthammer disagreed with Rush’s assessment that the elites were slobbering all over the president’s speech last night.

I wrote this for my blog a few weeks ago when Krauthammer wrote his Obama comeback column:

Charles still seems to have some issues with conservative repubs aka Tea Party....

Charles seems to be dealing with his Tea Party issues by adopting barack love as a psychological defense mechanism... I am writing in psycho speak now cuz charles is a psychiatrist in real life... and real-life psychiatrists like things that are vague and unquantifiable... aka platitudes. Charles (you may substitue Karl at any time for Charles and this will be doubly informative) (as Karl’s probation officer, I found it highly enlightening and made it part of my monthly report on Mr. Rove).

Charles aka Karl is committed to the republican elite establishment aka the entrenched - and the entrenched aka the powerful who protect the powerful - are dedicated to keeping things the same in DC - aka - corrupt convenient cronied - but because the Tea Party aka the republican rubes - have demonstrated electoral clout aka delivery of the goods - people like Charles aka Karl must give them dutiful though limited lip service - aka “Their labors are to be recognized and rewarded, but they are to stay off the porch and not presume to sit at the master’s table.” That is how Patrick Buchanan aka someone who was in DC long before it became the retroparticle soup it is today - explains it and he is right.

Charles loves barack and Karl hates Christine - it seems. But they both really really don’t want the Tea Party to survive or succeed - aka the end to a lot of the power privilege position aka perks - they - their clients and colleagues - partake of freely aka spoils of ruination paid for by poor slubs’ taxes. So one of them loves barack - the other hates christine - but they both - really - just wish the Tea Party would go away so things could be like they’ve always been aka...

DC - WHERE ONLY THE

POLITICALLY CONNECTED SURVIVE.

Brett said it is not fair to blame Obama for the croud. Obama controls everything even the fainting.

Does anyone have any links to threads on that topic? I'd like a ping if so. I can't search because the only word that comes to mind is "Fox," and FR doesn't search three-letter words.

I'm skeptical of Fox. Britt betrayed journalism with Fred Thompson's primary candidacy. Instead of covering Thompson, Brett pretended he wasn't there. Not important enough.

What if Fox's "balanced" panel sees fit to do the same with Palin?

Krathammer is perhaps the only person in the world who is more in love with the sound of his own voice than Obama.

Krathammer, the ultimate elitist, views people by the college they attended and the style with which they speak rather than the content of their speech.

He has become increasingly boring.

Charles, the liberals in this country have a condescending view of you, and everyone who disagrees with them. Your friend is Limbaugh, not the liberals.

Sure glad Krauthammer wouldn’t stoop to being condescending.

I had already pegged the guy to be a major Climer when he stated Obama’s speech last night was very good.

I almost threw up listening to Krauthammer slobber all over Obama last night. He is a lib in his heart.

As usual, they take a couple of sentences from Rush and miss his whole point.

Charles should be careful about commenting on a snippet like that. Maybe he’s not as smart as he thinks he is.

I don’t if Fox personalities have been falling down on their head, causing extreme stupidity over the last year but, my list grows everyday of people who cause me to change the channel. Sadly, Charles just made the list.

The cancerous commie media will destroy everything in its way.

Don’t know what has happened to CK, but it’s not good.

He took a lot of flack for his comments about Christine O'Donnell and has seemed very defensive ever since. It reminds me of the actions of the arrogant collage professor when one of his students dares to question his wisdom. He seems intent on demonstrating that he is so much more enlightened than those crude conservatives he has been associated with. Such a thin skin for a public figure.

My thought was that he said some things that got him some attention from the press (President Clinton said he was smart). He enjoyed being in the spotlight and doesn’t want to let it go. I could be wrong.

Seems a few of them got a shot, maybe they thought they were getting a flu shot, and instead got some sort of “compliance drug”. CK and a few others act like that is what happened. Very uncharacteristic.

Here’s the thing about the conservative elitists... they eventually fall into the elitism, they have an elevated opinion of themselves, they think that if they stop supported X candidate that the world will stop but here’s the thing: there have been plenty of treasonous ex-conservatives who fell in love with themselves and eventually went over to the enemy, and you know what? Nobody cares, conservatism is as strong as ever. Liberals are a dime a dozen in the elitist circles and the hoi polloi get bored with them awfully fast.

I have no interest in anything Krauthammer says. He’s just a male Kathleen Parker now.

He probably picked up that speech style from the Jeremiah Wright Church of Hate for Jews and Whitey.

I am sure Obama consoles Jeremiah, one of his mentors, by assuring him that his association with Jews in politics is a necessary evil.

Palin inspires hope for me; she is not the normal Washington faire.

Charles writes about what he experiences, and he is darn good at it. But I know the democrats, they WERE swooning over Obama’s speech. The president of our toastmasters club said the speech was phenomenal.

That night was to be a memorial, not a pep rally. The love of Obama transcends reason; history has taught us that we should be concerned with such zealotry and conceit.

CK blew this analysis. Rush is right on in his assessment, as usual. Perhaps the liberals with whom CK associates weren’t “slobbering” but the typical liberal commentators to whom Rush was referring absolutely were “slobbering.”

Anyone can read a speech written by others, saying some of the right words. However, Obama is NOT a good speaker. He is shallow, practiced, contrived, and exudes the attitude "It's all about me". I think this horrible shooting should have been acknowledged with flags at half mast, speech/resolutions of memorial in Congress, and the business of the US should have gone on the next day. I believe this may only be the beginning of such horrors, what with the vitriol coming from liberal news bodies, feral leftists, and characters straight out of Orwell.

If anything should happen to any of the Palins, Rush or other conservative voices, it can be laid right at the door of the alphabet media, the Chicago hate mongers, and Obama, who has been the most divisive President ever.

Charles has made some good observations in the past, but he is an intellectual elitist who identifies with those he considers in his league academically/intellectually--i.e. he is something of a snob--has always been. He condescends quite often.
