As Obama urged unity, Palin brought division
The Washington Post ^ | January 13, 2011 | Dan Balz

Posted on 01/13/2011 10:14:42 AM PST by cdga5for4

Obama has proven to be a polarizing figure in office, but on Wednesday he sought to unify. Palin ended up dividing. On a day of scripted messages, presumably carefully considered, Obama made the most of his. Palin did not.

Yes, of course.

Obama united the communists.

Palin divided ordinary Americans from the communist insurgency directed from the White House, the Press, and the “Entertainment” industry.

It’s not America. It’s the media. And they can burn in hell, as far as I’m concerned.

Palin endured non-stop libelous attacks from the left almost from the moment the massacre happened. Does she not have a right to defend herself? The Washington Post isn’t fit to pick up dog crap.

Obama has fueled the division by word and deed. His comments, such as “Republicans to the back of the bus....they are our enemies...we’ll use a gun...show me who’s ass to kick”. If Americans are angry, Obama is as responsible as any other individual is.

How dare Sarah Palin respond to vicious, unprincipled attacks!! She needs to be a “uniter” like Obama, see? /s

I live in the DC area and the Post had already shifted into re-elect Obama in 2012 mode. They didn’t quite put it all on the line for the Dems in Congress in 2010 because they weren’t as heavily invested, but they are “all in” with Obama and the cheerleading has picked up noticeably since the 2010 election.

I too am so sick of this crap.

I'd like to see Sarah Palin, as a housewife and mother, start speaking up about the rapidly rising price of groceries and then link the rise to 0bama's policies.

The left would go absolutely batsh*t. The charge would be grounded in truth and reality, could not be argued and would find receptive ears with many of the homes in America.

Throw in an arcane reference to the "Trail of Tears" to get another minority justifiably upset and get Olbermann to foam at the mouth. Popcorn would, of course, be free.

DO we expect any truth from the MSM??

I don’t trust the media to tell me the right scores off of sports, I always make sure I double check.

I see the Washington Post has got it’s marching orders from the Obama Admin. This will be a common theme heard through all the state run media.

It’s so much easier to play the uniter when it isn’t you being accused of murder.

By failing to accept full responsibility for shooting those people, Sarah Palin creates an atmosphere of conflict.

Accuse Palin of murder, she responds, attack her for responding.

Take us right down the leftist rathole, where only leftists can attack, conservatives become “coarse” when they respond, and then they pretend the leftists are “uniters”.

Btw no one is mentioning the end of Obama’s speech was a thinly veiled attack on conservative rhetoric, and his whole view of life was expressed as public service and how the little girl wanted to grow up to be in government.
