To say the least. The victims deserve better, much better. If anything was going to be handed out, it should have been a dedication book for the victims. A t-shirt is definitely not appropriated, but if that was to be done why not have the victims names or faces printed with a quote. It should have been a night filled with prayer and dedication for the victims and their families only. Each victim should have been represented by a family member or friend to speak of their contributions and strengths. Instead they got a high school pep rally. Disgraceful.

I really, really hope and pray that she will have a full recovery.
I’m glad the family of the little girl was not at the circus. I hope they know how much the quiet folks of America are hurting with and for them and praying for God’s tender compassion to hold them up in the coming days, months, and years.

Thank you for the photo above. I don't think these are Obama campaign t-shirts as has been reported. Does it say "Tucson (?) America" below the Together We Thrive? What was the point of these t-shirts?

Thank you for the additional t-shirt photos. I still can’t make out the line below the Together We Thrive. Does it say Tucson + America, Tucson, America, or is there an Obama (or other) logo between the Tucson and America?
Obama serves the prince of liars,the lord of destruction. We will know him by hiis fruits. The fruits of Obama’s rule are at hand. Come out of thaty state of corruption and seek the Lord of love and His righteousness.
A bulk pack of Scots TP is cheaper and serves the same purpose.
Thanks for thinking of me. :-) Most of my family was at home though hubby was putting in some Saturday morning work hours. My oldest son and I were at a baseball game along with 9 other baseball fields’ worth of families. (high school aged) It was a surreal morning. Baseball leagues among other things are what make this town seem a lot smaller than it is. Instead of only getting to know the folks from your local little league, you meet people from all the little leagues around town. When you play these same kids year after year or play with them on club teams throughout the year, the size of the town shrinks. When this happened, you could see as people found out via cell phone or from word of mouth. People who we know in law enforcement had already left the baseball fields before the news hit the wires. Then there were the sirens, speeding state police on the interstate, lots of medical helicopters in the sky, etc. that alerted folks to trouble in Tucson.
I was told 'Together we Thrive' is set to be the campaign theme for 2010 with the tagline being changed event by event ...purpose by purpose.
Regardless of the purpose, Obama turned what was supposed to be a solemn memorial service into a partisan political rally about HIM. The victims of the attack were merely a side line.
On its face, the event was a disgusting spectacle that served to mock those who fell in this horrific act. The singular vulgar picture of this day will always be the stadium full of chairs adorned with a political message.
Here's the question: "What could "Together We Thrive" possibly mean to this administration that promotes socialism and victimhood while denigrating the thriving that comes from free spirits and capitalistic enterprise?
I thought the same thing, immediately. What could that saying mean to a man who pushes socialism, and victimhood while mocking the "thriving" that comes with freedom and capitalistic enterprise?
maybe that is why it took them to have the memorial until Wednesday because they were waiting on their t-shirts to be delivered
Actually, you are right. The memorial was delayed while they waited for the shirts to be printed and hung on the chairs.
