It’s a high one. A much higher one than your attendants are telling you that it is. They are almost certainly telling you to concentrate on the ‘blood libel’ comment - which, by the way, will immediately resonate with at least 40% of the population of the country, mostly because it is darned accurate* - but what you really need to do is take note of the fact that she’s saying the things that the President should be saying right now about the need to come together, the glory of this country - and, yes, that the Democratic party is acting like a bunch of [expletive deleted] right now, and that they need to stop.
Call in your speechwriters. Make them watch this speech. Tell them that you need one just like it, only twice as good. Because if you don’t - if you go with your usual scheme where you try to set yourself up as the only rational solution in a world full of the irrationa - you will merely hasten your irrelevance.

PS: I don’t expect you to take this advice. This saddens me as an American, and satisfies me as a Republican. I’d rather that it was the other way around.
*For the record: yes, she undoubtedly meant it. And if anyone out there doesn’t like having their rhetoric being compared to hate-filled bigots trying to instigate violence by spreading deliberate inflammatory lies against another group, then STOP DOING IT.

c’mon ... who would you rather listen to and see on TV, Obama or Palin? Duh.
It’s amazing how she’s able to say phrases and have them instantly inserted into the natl consciousness. Death Panels. Pallin’ around with terrorists(a 100% true fact, btw). Blood libel. Etc... I don’t even think she intends to, it just happens. Basically I think the reason is that the media has convinced themselves that if they can put her up as the leader of party, the conservative movement, the tea party, etc... then Obama will win easily in 2012 and that is their top goal.
I think this blood libel thing was a huge coincidence. The WSJ published an op-ed that used blood libel in the headline and included the passage:
So as the usual talking heads begin their “have you no decency?” routine aimed at talk radio and Republican politicians, perhaps we should turn the question around. Where is the decency in blood libel?
I’d bet that’s where she got the phrase from. She read the article, saw it was about the same subject, and used it. I’d bet she had no idea about its connotation to anti-semitism.
So she uses it thinking it’s just some rather descriptive phrase from a WSJ article(after all the media did libel her and say she had “blood” on her hands, hence blood libel) and this erupted totally unexpectedly.
Obama’s speech is 100% predictable. It will be the same as his race speech. He’ll come out and say both sides are guilty. That the both the left and the right go too far. He’ll present two extreme sides and offer himself as the middle trying to bridge the divide. I can about guarantee he’ll use a variation of “X says this and Y says that, but I say we need to reject both and choose the following”
The Establishmedia Repub frontrunners are always hiding when the bullets start flying, only the girl stands up.

Charles Krauthammer was not directly acccused of having blood on his hands. She HAD to respond. She picked the perfect time to do it, and she gave the perfect speech. Short and to the point.
I suspect Zero will drone on for an hour about how we all need to be more tolerant.
I hope he repeats Pelosi and calls this a "tragic accident." After all, Pelosi is brilliant and Palin is a doofus.
