Is it a memorial or an Obama rally? Souvenir t-shirts emblazoned with the logo for the 'Together We Thrive' gathering at the University of Arizona were placed on chairs at the arena ahead of the memorial.
It's odd for a memorial to a mass murder to have a logo, but it's crass to hand out souvenir t-shirts.

Speechless.

“how little respect we have for our fellow Americans”
Sorry - I don’t mean most of us, of course. I don’t want to malign the people of Tucson whose hearts are probably in the right place, but this is just so inappropriate.
It COMPLETELY sounds like some Bolshevik slogan to me.
Like when they were marching off the prisoners to work on the Soviet dams. I mean, “workers.”
OMG - I got one of the “determined” Obama chia pets at a White Elephant Gift Exchange! I couldn’t get rid of it!
Well Mark Penn, Democratic Strategist, was calling for an Oklahoma City bombing event to save Obama and get his poll numbers back up. It looks like he got one plus T-Shirts and merchandising to go along with it.
video of Mark Penn saying Obama needs a Oklahoma City bombing to pick up his poll numbers

The shamelessness of the left knows no bounds when comes to treading on and tarnishing the killings of innocents. They will do anything to exploit a tragedy to promote their progressive political agenda. I mean like geez where is the Dunking Booth filled with blood to dunk a Sarah Palin look alike into it for $1 with a sign saying all proceeds go to the DNC reelection campaigns eeerr we mean the victim’s families.

“The largest crowd in McKale history was the 15,176 who watched Arizona face New Mexico on Jan. 14, 1976.”
That’s a lot of t-shirts. Can anyone find out what company made them up so quickly? It’s time to update the boycott list.
It will backfire on them, theya re just too stupid to realize it.
An older couple was run down by an illegal alien in front of Ft. Huachuca a few years ago, they died. The park ranger in Organ Pipe, the ranchers, so many home-invaded and murdered by flagrant illegals or those with questionable status. One woman lost her unborn child (very close to being born) — because one of those questionable status ones was getting away. My parents almost died then and my mom had to testify at the trial.
No one cares, thanks so much to the open border politicians and judges who make us live in this squalor. And they can revise history as much as they want, the judge and congresswoman were pro-open borders.
t-shirts.....
T-SHIRTS!? wow...I don’t feel so well.
Again this shows the utter soulessness and cravenness of the democratic party who will stoop to any low to justify their ideology
I wonder if they truly know how sick and vile this is???
To me it's beyond the pale to pass out T-shirts at a memorial for the dead, especially innocent people cut down for no apparent reason except for a crazed kid
Posted earlier on the live thread:
(Those are not flowers at their feet)
Oh my... yup, exactly. Thanks for reposting, I need to meander over to the live thread....
I’m very disgusted right now and people’s comments (and pictures) make me feel better...
That’s disgusting! Who makes a t-shirt for a memorial service?!
Said it wrong: Only a narcissist moron would okay t-shirts be used for a memorial service.
Lots of other tragedies have occurred recently, why make political hay out of this one? BECAUSE THEY LOST THE HOUSE AND THEY AREN’T GONNA TAKE THAT LAYING DOWN and may even try to wrench some seats back.
And pony rides for the kiddies!
Geeez
Did I miss something? From your link, the only cheering I saw was this:
When U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Gifford's doctor Peter Rhee arrived at the memorial center, the crowd cheered as he jogged down the line in his scrubs looking for his wife and kids.
I'd stand and cheer for this man and all the staff at the hospital that did an exceptional job for all the victims of this terrible crime.
I agree that we should track down who paid for these awful ‘campaign’ shirts and who got the job to make them. It is going to take a Tuscon Freeper more than likely to go down there and get one. We could call the campus tomorrow and ask too.
Yeah the docs have remained about the political posturing and done their jobs.
