Report: Loughner Family Blocks FBI From Entering House

Fox News' Trace Gallagher reporting via phone on the Sean Hannity radio show from Tucson says the parents of accused Rep. Giffords shooter Jared Loughner are blocking the FBI from entering their home.

Gallagher said Fox is sending a crew to the scene.

I’m confused. Dupnik confirmed to Fox News (Megyn Kelly I think) that the FBI had found a letter from Giffords (dated 2007) in a safe at Loughner’s home. He had written “I planned ahead my assassination” then he signed it.

Personally, if my kid shot a federal judge and nearly killed a congresswoman, I'd be all like, "Come in, come in, look at anything you want, do you guys need some coffee?"

I have allowed a full up search of my property without a warrant on one occasion, and they have searched without my presence or permission on another.

Circumstances can make such a search reasonable or at least understandable.

But why didn't the FBI presuppose this and get a warrant in the beginning? Did the perp live at home?

Loehner has, more than likely been appointed a public defender. Now that it is beginning to look like he is more Leftist Loon than Conservative, everyone will be amazed at how many protections, legal rights and privileges to which he has access in this case.

Had he actually had ties to the Tea Party, he would have been perp walked all over Arizona by now.

He DOES still live there. Shame on the FBI if they don’t have a warrant, but I’d be stunned if they didn’t. Assuming they do, then open the damn door...this demon-seed nutjob just killed six people including a nine-year-old girl, and the word “alleged” doesn’t apply when there’s hundreds of witnesses.

Maybe the parents were involved? Maybe the parents had a lot of influence over their son? While we argue about left’s fault and right’s fault...maybe there is something in that house that will reveal something way more sinister.
