It may be their home but he was an adult living there so it is his home too, and the FBI has rights to access his part of the home?
Not without a warrant they don't.

People waiving their rights because they have nothing to hide is what gives cops the idea that the only people who insist on their rights are the ones who DO. That may be very true. All I know is that it's supremely stupid to give cops permission walk around your house looking for anything they can concievably call 'illegal'.
Never, ever, ever waive your legal rights to anything when dealing with LEO's.
Ever.

What could there be to hide? The occult shrine in the cammo tent in the backyard might be a clue.

If Sheriff Dipwick had a file on Jared, he’s going to have to explain why he didn’t seek to have a “hold” placed on him that eventually allowed him to buy that gun...IMHO

Well at least the FBI didn’t resort to rolling in tanks and setting the house on fire.

Personally, if my kid shot a federal judge and nearly killed a congresswoman, I'd be all like, "Come in, come in, look at anything you want, do you guys need some coffee?"I have never understood people who protect their children when it is obvious they have committed a heinous crime. I'd be all "I have no son!" after this.

Fox News was allowed in the neighbor’s yard to get a look because local police were protecting them and wouldn’t allow them near the house.

Something is definitely up with the parents - something the press does not want to report on. Two mommies or two daddies could be it, or who knows what. Been too long with NO information on the parents. Something is major league fishy here. Smells like something big. . but giving them the benefit of the doubt. No matter how we view all this, they must be in total shock and deserve some slack.

The FBI has probably been dispatched to take possession of any material that might show Jared’s connection to the democrat party and other leftist hate spewers and doers.

For all I know, the parents may just not want their son to get the death penalty. Thats understandable, and if God forbid I ever get put in a situation like that, Id probably do the same thing. Bloods thicker than water.
If my kid ever shoots a 9-year old girl in the chest...he should expect less sympathy from me than the little girl's family gets.

When the news first came out, lots of freepers wondered if it was a hit by a Mexican drug cartel.
AND .... Judge Roll had recently ruled in some case involving a group of illegals who sued a rancher for detaining them on his property until ICE could pick them up. But I am not familiar with the details.
There are plenty of freepers who wonder if the judge was the real target, as he was the first person shot, some have even wondered if the judge was stalked, but circumstances seem to negate this possibility.

I agree, something is fishy with the family. They never released any statement concerning their son or the incident. I can understand that considering it's only been 48 hours but by all accounts of the neighbors this family is very recluse if not antisocial. Now they are blocking the investigation, these actions don't add up. Possible their just as crazy as the kid though, who knows.

They can’t be in too much shock if they allowed a shrine with skull and dried oranges in the yard covered with camo.
