WASHINGTON -- Rep. Jim Clyburn on Sunday said Sharron Angle's endorsement of "Second Amendment remedies" in her losing Nevada campaign against Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid contributed to the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.
Clyburn, the House assistant Democratic leader, said of Giffords' alleged assailant, Jared Lee Loughner: "It seems like this gentleman was not satisfied with the way the election came out. "There's no way you cannot make that connection (with Angle's rhetoric) unless you want to be stupid."

Somewhat off-topic, Obama, in his remarks, mentioned Gabby and said: “she was a friend of mine.” This is shortly after he said she was injured (and by implication alive). He had hours to get something ready, and they still goof it up?
I blame clyburn for being a national disgrace.

He’s already branded his political opposition as “racist”, which is one of the things which poisons the political atmosphere. The problem is that some politicians will spread falsehoods, if it helps their cause.

I love the way the leftist politicians and the leftist press are trying to paint the Arizona tragedy as a crisis. They actually feel threatened, not so much by the supposed crisis itself but by the sentiment America is developing against the left.They seek to deflect that sentiment with the Arizona tragedy, when in fact more statements of violence come from Obama himself ( They bring a knife, we bring a gun), and violent incidents have been perpetrated by the SEIU ( Town Meetings)and by Obama supporters.

I heard in an interview with Fox News yesterday that Clyburn is also trying to use this tragedy as leverage to obtain special treatment for Congressional members from TSA so they won’t have to go through the groping that we the people must endure. I think America has had about enough of the elitist attitude of Congress.
Are you kidding? It has been determined that it is okay for liberals to murder Republicans and call for the murder of Republicans. Remember when Spike Lee called for the murder of Bush with a 44 Bulldog? Or when Democrats put a target over Bush on a poster?
