Obama urges end to "symbolic battles" in Congress (Ok! Just Defund It)

President Barack Obama urged newly empowered Republicans on Saturday not to wage "symbolic battles" against him but to instead work together to help spur job growth and economic recovery.

Obama issued his appeal in his weekly radio address after Republicans took power in the House of Representatives on Wednesday, setting up potentially fierce fights with the president and his Democrats on spending, debt and healthcare.

"Our fundamental mission must be to accelerate hiring and growth," Obama said.

He touted as an example of bipartisan cooperation a massive compromise tax cut package approved by Congress last month that he said had contributed to "more optimistic economic forecasts for the year ahead."

Obama cautiously welcomed Friday's Labor Department report that unemployment in December fell to 9.4 percent from 9.8 percent. But the rise of 103,000 in non-farm payrolls fell short of economists' expectations.

We did not send those folks up there to work with you toward your goal for our total self destruction, Mr Obama, but to save the USA from your disastrous agenda.

The “bipartisan tax-cut” raised my taxes when it moved the property tax deduction below the line. Sic semper tyrannis!

I hope this 112th Congress drags out every little bit of dirty laundry this pretender and his administration has.

I want the whole country to see him and his cronies for the elitist, communist, marxist, maoist, totalitarian statists, and control freaks they are.

Except for one thing... Obama misses..

His VETOS will expose the left.. all of the left..
He can(WILL BE) be used as a fulcrum to highlight the lefts agenda..
Many little bills VETOED will expose the leftist agenda..

It must be exposed to the electorate..
Obama is a figurehead of a much larger cadre and junta.. its not just "him"..
His VETOS will strip them naked.. 2012 is not far off..
Many seats in the House and Senate in 2012 are riding on "votes" as well..

The TpCaucus will be larger with more scope in 2012 than in 2010..
(JAWS Theme)..

What do you mean? Did we lose our Property Tax deduction? Is there a portion that’s not deductible? What’s up with that?

Hey, Bamster, how's this?
We'll stop the "symbolic" battles when you provide more than a symbolic birth cert.

Huh...

Nothing symbolic in repealing 0bamacare.

Nothing symbolic in reigning in the FCC, FEC, EPA, FDA, and a half dozen other alphabet agencies “rules of engagement.”

So ...just what is so “symbolic” there Mr. 0bama?

He and his administration, such as it was, refused to meet with Republicans for the firts 14 months after the election. Now he wants them to cooperate? He’s just starting his re-election campaign and will lie as he did prior to his election.

Twenty-three rat senators are up in 2012.

I think more than a few will be quietly lobbying Dingy Harry to bring Obamacare repeal up for a vote. They do not want to get creamed like their fellow rodents did in 2010.

The problem for Hussein would be bipartisan opposition to a law that a majority of the electorate were, and are against.

President Barack Obama urged newly empowered Republicans on Saturday not to wage "symbolic battles" against him. . . ."

Interpreted as: "Only Commie Rats like me, the Supreme Leader Obama, should be able to engage in propaganda in the public arena."

I suspect that even rodents object to being compared to Democrats.
At least the rodents earn their living.

The Republicans are just posturing with the repeal bill being voted on next week. If they were serious about repealing ObamaCare, they would attach it to the bill raising the debt ceiling that is coming up in March. No repeal, no funding for the debt. We would see who chickens out first.
