I wrote yesterday that in the coming days and weeks, House pro-lifers would be introducing 4 important bills.
The 1st, a bill to repeal Obamacare, is already in motion, starting yesterday.
And today, Congressman Mike Pence introduced our 2nd bill, the Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act, which would cut off Title X funding to organizations that commit abortion. The most obvious target is Planned Parenthood, which Congressman Pence spotlighted in his statement:
It is morally wrong to end an unborn human life by abortion. It is also morally wrong to take the taxpayer dollars of millions of pro-life Americans and use them to promote abortion at home or abroad.
Last year, Planned Parenthood received more than $363 million in revenue from government grants and contracts. During that same time, they performed an unprecedented 324,008 abortions.
The largest abortion provider in America should not also be the largest recipient of federal funding under Title X.
The Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act will prevent any family planning funds under Title X from going to Planned Parenthood or other organizations that perform abortions. It will ensure that abortion providers are not being subsidized with federal tax dollars.
I am grateful for the support of more than 122 original co-sponsors
.
Am working on getting the names of those cosponsors, so you can see if your rep is on there, and if not, urge him/her to sign on. [UPDATE: Am told the list should be posted Monday.]

This ought to be a gimmee. They are going to have to cut $1.5 trillion from the budget to balance it.

The U.S. taxpayers should not be subsidizing a bunch of baby killers. Make them have to go out and find real jobs.

I agree. It is pure murder. Of all the crimes this country has ever committed (I think slavery was morally wrong), the slaughter of the innocents is the worst. We must end it.

It should be a gimmee, but those RATS HATE babies. I think those lines which are ditches are going to be trenches with no man’s land of the “moderates” in between. We have to fight this like a war AND WE MUST WIN!!!!

How did we squander our advantage during the Bush years whem we had the WH and Congress?
What were they thinking back then? How many lives could have been saved?
Oh well, at least this Congress (especially the House), sees what it lost and regained and is doing what needs to be done.
THANK GOD!
We must all remember this moment in history and never let the liberals gain an advantage against America again.

"324,008 abortions"......plus tens of thousands of others that are unreported by the organization (referrals to private doctors, etc.)
Planned Parenthood is a death mill....Slaughterhouse 324,008.

Abortion Foes Target Sen. Casey in Pa.
Pennsylvanias Bob Casey is one of just three anti-abortion Democrats remaining in the Senate after the midterm elections, yet pro-life advocates plan to oppose his re-election in 2012.
Caseys sin: He voted in favor of President Barack Obamas healthcare overhaul.
Pro-lifers in Pennsylvania are terribly disappointed with Sen. Caseys vote in favor of President Obamas healthcare reform law, Michael Ciccocioppo, executive director of the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation, told Roll Call.
We know that Caseys office was flooded with constituents urging him to vote No. In the end, on the biggest vote of his career, he didnt listen to the voters. Pro-life Pennsylvanians have long memories.
Ciccocioppo believes the bill would allow taxpayer-funded abortions and deny care to the elderly through the rationing of medically necessary treatments.
Helen Gohsler, president of the Scranton chapter of Pennsylvanians for Human Life, dismissed the possibility that the local anti-abortion community could support Casey in 2012, saying: He betrayed us.
Pro-life groups might use healthcare and other issues to entice evangelicals and Catholics they hope will oppose Caseys re-election bid, Roll Call reported.
Caseys office responds that he fought for provisions in the healthcare bill that would block public funding of abortion, worked to insert provisions boosting funding for the adoption tax credit, and opposed an amendment to the Defense Authorization Act that could have permitted taxpayer-funded abortions on military bases.
Reportedly, one-third of Pennsylvania voters who believe abortion should be illegal supported Casey in 2006, when he defeated social conservative Rick Santorum by more than 17 percentage points.
Thats less likely to happen in 2012, Roll Call observes: Pennsylvanias anti-abortion leaders say Caseys ultimate vote to support the overhaul is unforgivable.

Ok, I need help with a question. I thought I read earlier today that this bill would only defund the abortion arm of PP. Is that right?
I want that whole damn POS Satan-on-Earth place defunded! They preach masturbation, gay sex, child sex, etc and they have infiltrated our public schools as well as the U.N. to push their anti-child policies world wide. I do not want ANY $$ funding that outfit. Simply disgusting. Don’t get me wrong but if I had to choose, I’d rather see tax dollars being shuffled to ACORN before I see it going toward some slaugtherhouse like this.

Oh! Thank you. Disregard the previous post. :)

Next defund NPR and let them survive on individual personal contributions rather than by the American taxpayer.
