Suspicious Package "Ignites" at NE D.C. Post Office (addressed to Napolitano)

A suspicious package addressed to Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano "ignited" at a facility that handles government mail in northeast Washington, according NBC News correspondent Pete Williams.

The piece of mail involved was tossed into a bin at about 3 p.m. Friday for further sorting when it caught fire, Williams reported. He said the piece of mail flashed, ignited and then quickly went out.

No injuries have been reported.
