While some Republicans are seeking to repeal controversial aspects of a recently approved financial crisis-response Dodd-Frank Act, Rep. Michele Bachmann announced her efforts on Thursday to axe the law completely. Im pleased to offer a full repeal of the job-killing Dodd-Frank financial regulatory bill, the Minnesota Republican said after introducing a bill that would do just that. Dodd-Frank grossly expanded the federal government beyond its jurisdictional boundaries. It gave Washington bureaucrats the power to interpret and enforce the legislation with little oversight.GOPs Bachmann seeks to repeal Dodd-Frank

Bachmann was great last night on Hannity debating Anthony Weiner. He's such a little weasle and she totally cleaned his clock!
As I’ve mentioned in post past there isn’t any tinkering with anything the Leftist Socialist Democrats have established, only the total elimination of whatever the issue is. Anything of their handi-work left standing becomes the basis for their ability to reconstruct it.
IOW if not TOTALLY eliminated we are leaving them a precedent standing to base their reconstruction upon.
That’s why I think Michelle is absolutely correct.
Now, is there any way we can get back the billions of dollars of our money given to the UNIONS?
This is the bill that allocates large amounts of money for a data base to track all your financial transactions.
Politicians of all stripes won’t bite off the hand that feeds them.
Go Michele! My Representative won’t be any help, as she’s a full-bore leftist, but I can sure cheer on the good guys.
President Bachmann is doing a great job. 2012 looks delightful.
Don't tease me like that. I'd love to see Bachmann on the ticket.
I just got a tingle up my leg.
Go Ducks
The new congress definitely hit the ground running. I hope they can continue the pace. It’s going to take a lot of work to reverse 60 years of Federal Government intrusion.
Excellent!
Bachmann BUMP.
This is a start, and it certainly is the right attitude.
We must not only eliminate the government overreach,
we must eliminate the ability to even have that overreach.
These unaccountable positions of power in the regulatory “branch” of government attract control freak leftists like a moth to a light.
Time to break the lightbulb.
But god help you if it is a cfl bulb. Open all the windows and leave the room for 15mins and then follow the instructions you can find here . If you have a computer. If not, GOOD LUCK!
“Time to break the lightbulb.”
Excellent. Right on the mark.
May God bless this brave woman.
