Ex-Huffington Post CEO joins Glenn Becks site
By Michael Calderone

The left-leaning Huffington Post and Glenn Beck's recently launched news site, The Blaze, don't have a lot in common politically. But Betsy Morgan, who was previously chief executive of the Huffington Post, has been named president of the conservative TV and radio star's "four month-old information network."
Morgan's role will be to build The Blaze into the "premiere digital network curating content, community and debate and further leveraging Beck's loyal audience," according to a release.
Media watchers may be surprised by the move, but Morgan explained that its not such a great departure from her previous work.
"I am a very apolitical person," Morgan told the New York Times. "I'm a business person, who is absolutely fascinated by brands."
She added that Beck "has built for himself quite an enormous brand," and the site is designed to "leverage the huge loyalty of that audience."

I wouldn’t trust her, but maybe that’s just me.
Beck has been listening to BOR to much.
Not only that, but on Facebook today he wrote:
“In the immortal words of a man who definitely did NOT inappropriately touch children, If you wanna make the world a better place, take a look at yourself, and then make a change.”
So now he’s a huge fan of Micheal Jackson?
It's the same pleasure I'm feeling knowing that Nancy Pelosi will have to place multiple votes on legislation that seeks to undo everything she sold her soul to ram through and then some.
“Man in the Mirror” was written and composed by Siedah Garrett and Glen Ballard.
He also said that if anyone publishes a positive story on Obama on TheBlaze, they will be fired.
Beck thinks he is going to take the place of Drudge.
Not gonna happen.
Drudge puts stuff up and then boom, they are on Beck’s site. Lame.
Huffington post? I wouldn’t trust her.
It will be interesting. Beck has a good site.
Heh....wait till she gets the libtard hatemail and death threats for defecting to Beck.....
Looking at her record of success, it sounds like a good business move. I’ll bet she has a pretty explicit contract.
It would be cool if Beck ended up with bigger net traffic than HP!
She’ll probably miss those in crowd party invitations. I bet she’d be really popular with an insider tell all book. The ‘Progressives’ love turncoats.
Its already a fine site for news we aren’t getting anywhere else.
This woman is being hired to make business decisions which she apparently does quite well.
I'm not a Beck fan, precisely because he does not come across as a true believer in conservatism. He strikes me as another O'Reilly, one who is conservative because it gets him an audience, but would change in a heartbeat like Arianna Huffington did, if required to make that audience larger.
I have NEVER, EVER met an “apolitical” person in America. Everyone is either conservative or liberal. Period. Anyone who says they are “apolitical” is lying.
I don’t get it either. Huffington Post is a private company, just because someone works there doesn’t mean they believe all what they’re selling. It it were a non-profit that would be another story. When you’re a for-profit company business had better come first.
BTW: I worked for a conservative non-profit before and knew a white guy there who voted for Obama.
I just did some photoshop work for my ultra liberal cousin and his hiking club. (Logos for sweatshirts and T shirts etc) I personally don’t buy his ideology but the $100 will spend just fine.
My liberal sister did some photography work for Thaddeus McCotter over the summer.
