firing two of Richardson's expensive chefs (how many does it take to make a burrito??) As public employees they aren't allowed to lift more than 50 lbs. Feeding Bill was serious business.

>California, New Mexico and other Western states have begun to suffer longer droughts, rapidly melting snowpacks and other effects
WHY & how they are allowed to push these lies on us should be investigated as a crime against humanity
In February 2009, Nobel Laureate and Energy Secretary Steven Chu pontificated without evidence that California farms would dry up and blow away, inasmuch as 90 percent of the annual Sierra snowpack would disappear.
Yet long-term studies of the central Sierra snowpack show average snow levels unchanged over the last 90 years.
Many California farms are drying up -- but from government's, not nature's, irrigation cutoffs.
Great read. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2652243/posts

To bring everybody up to date 24 hours after firing everybody on the EIB, which was established by executive order, she forced the EIBs emission rules not to be published. In other word those rules are now history.

according to the news on KOH (Reno talk radio) the Sierra

Anyone seen her crying yet?Not even close! Back in October, CNN sent a crew to interview Martinez here in NM. When they went to hook up a wireless microphone to the back of her waistband, she told "Be careful - there's a gun back there." CNN reported it on one of Wolf Blitzer's programs, saying "She was packing heat when she addressed a gathering in Alamogordo, New Mexico, on Monday."
Governor Martinez has a current NM concealed carry license, and favors a .380 pistol.

“The move threatens to cripple the Western Climate Initiative”
Cripple it, break it, burn it, mail it's corpse back to California. The green movement is anti-civilization by accident or design, probably the later

According to the Journal, only one of the two rules is gone. The one you mention was short-circuited as you said, but the Journal says the separate one proposed by the Environment Department that calls for New Mexico participation in a regional cap-and-trade program went into effect on January 1. It will be stopped, temporarily at least, with her executive order ordering a review of all rules and regulations, but is not completely dead as of yet.

"Unfortunately, the majority of EIB members have made it clear that they are more interested in advancing political ideology than implementing common-sense policies that balance economic growth with responsible stewardship in New Mexico," Martinez said... When did el Rushbo join the environmental wackos?

Thanks AAC! I had read something a while back about this “Western Climate Initiatitive” and wondered what would become of it. Seems the wheels may be falling off. None too soon!
