When they went to hook up a wireless microphone to the back of her waistband, she told "Be careful - there's a gun back there." CNN reported it on one of Wolf Blitzer's programs, saying "She was packing heat when she addressed a gathering in Alamogordo, New Mexico, on Monday."
Governor Martinez has a current NM concealed carry license, and favors a .380 pistol.
