I think they are hilarious.

I particularly like the infighting and despondency when they are in the catbird seat.

I suppose that will change as of today LoL

FR needs to have some type of method to commuincate to its members when it’s off-line.

Best back-up FR site on the net:

altFreeRepublic.com

They are griping about Boehner getting misty eyed while they are in mommy’s basement, crying over their pizza because Miss America Pelosi is out of her job? HA!

Glad I live in Texas. We shoot back. :)

Amen to that.

Mark Levin was saying tonight that Texas is perhaps the last free place left in America, and that if it's ever lost to the left, this country is finished.

I've only been a Texan for five years, but I'll tell you what....whenever I have to travel out of state, I feel like I'm in a foreign country, and can't wait to get back to Texas. The relief I feel when I get back here is hard to describe.

"When I have to hit post several times to see it go through, something’s not right."

My FRiend, IIRC, you did that several times recently & set some sort of multi-post record with a 15-post string... '-)

It seems when system troubles like that start, a major crash is not too far behind... :-(

Uhm, ask metmom where she was earlier today... check her comment at; http://www.examiner.com/lds-church-in-national/anti-mormon-purge-coming-on-free-republic I'd ask metmom how we could get her to stop doing that, myself...but I can already hear a possible answer;

Hey, y'all.... Take a look at this interesting yet pathetic attempt to smear the non-Mormon's by Greg and Co. posting these types of comments under our various screen names and claiming we did it.

If you look at the comments associated with a certain group of names, it's clear what's going on because some of the comments that are claimed to have been posted by JR himself fall into the same category and have the same style.

BD: Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention so that we can see what some Mormon's are truly made of and that JR's decision to ban Greg West was the right one.

We all know that there's nothing stopping someone from grabbing somebody's screen name and posing as them in an attempt to smear them and get them banned from FR.

It's been done before to various FReepers in good standing who others wished to get rid of and has failed miserably. They weren't banned and the smear campaign fizzled off like a burned out flare.

BTW, you guys spelled *Colofornian* wrong.

The rest of you all, this is just to make you aware of what someone is doing so that you aren't taken by surprise if (and when) it happens to you as well.

Oh, and Blue Dragon..... IBTZ.....

I know the feeling!

In Texas you’re FREE for sure! It’s liberating!

I gripe about the heat and the fact that I live in just about
the ugliest place in America (the armpit of Texas here!), but
I am always happy that I am here instead of “there”.

We can do without the rest of the country...but can THEY do
without us?

Honestly, Blue Dragon, do you really think that JR is foolish enough to believe anything he'd read on a site like that?

You all over there are stupider than you think we are if you think for a minute that any of us would believe anything West has to say about FR.

Today I checked on an alternative Yahoo FR group and lo and behold, someone signed up there today with the name little_jeremiah_2 and was saying that homosexuals and Mormons have vast computer networks and were probably messing with FR. To make me, the real lj, look like a nut!

So I guess this is a program they’re doing.

And the funny thing is I never, ever discuss Mormon stuff on FR. Ever.

Not likely.

Texas has become the economic powerhouse of the nation. It's the number one destination of choice for businesses that are looking to relocate within the continental US.

Over 1,350 AMERICANS a day move into Texas from other states. We've just gained 4 additional House seats because of our phenomenal growth, while some states in the Northeast are continuing to lose seats.

There isn't much that Texas has to import from other states, but we export quite a bit to the rest of the country.

Yes, Texas could get along just fine as a sovereign nation, but the loss of Texas would probably cripple the Union.
