HONOLULU (AP) -- President Barack Obama ended his nearly two-week Hawaiian vacation on a somber note Monday, taking his daughters to visit his grandfather's grave.
The president's motorcade wound through the island of Oahu's mountainous terrain late Monday afternoon on its way to National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl.

I suggest renting the latest movie “Salt”, if you get the Bluray version it will have three different endings, I don’t know if the regular DVD does but it gives an insight into just how long ranged the KGB were at introducing trained agents into the American society.
I particularly enjoyed the Extended Directors Cut. Way better ending than shown in the theaters.
Are we sure grandma is dead? And are we sure she wasn’t interred and maybe the grave not marked? We aren’t even sure his mother is dead are we?
There was an actual picture of this? Who in there right mind allows a picture of such an event?
LOL to the flour I LOL.
The “best” part was that it was illegal for Obama to dump the ashes into the ocean along the shore like he did, he then proceeded to throw the empty container into the ocean as well.
Did he say to his grandpa, like he did to the troops, “You make a great photo op”?
It is sickening huh? I saw on TV that initially the media were drooling over Obama so badly that they described his glistening muscles of his stomache six pack in detail!
Oh and don’t forget the SOB went to church he went to church did you hear he went to church?
Are ashes usually that white?
Meant to add: looks as if they are pouring Grandma out of a KFC bucket. :-)
This is getting sick photo ops to drudge up support, he visits his grandfathers grave while in Hawaii. he dumps his grandmothers flour from the flour canister and claims it is her ashes (come now I have seen the ashes from an urn - they are not that white nor are they so massive in quantity an uncle passed away in Arizona and he was delivered in a quart size baggie). Plus ice cream and slurpies. gee what great photo ops to get for the campaign. Obama visits the grave of his grandfather whom served in the WWII European theater. Obama honors his grandmothers last wish her ashes to be dumped into the ocean. he takes his daughters to see the palces of his misspent youth in Hawaii. Come now I am not buying this crap anymore. he lived in Hawaii liked I lived in New York State so brief of a time it makes little sense to say I was really ever in New York (summer job).
The thing is those who believe a president is responsible for 9/11 are the same ones who get ruffled when we make fun of Obama.
The first First Family to not look like one.
He is looking anorexic in those pics. He can’t weigh more than 125 lbs.
“Im currently reading With The Old Breed: At Peleliu and Okinawa by Eugene B. Sledge. And watching the HBO
Mini-Series The Pacific, which the producers used Sledges book as source material for.”
Funny that you should mention this. I just finished reading ‘Helmet for My Pillow’ by Robert Leckie last night. I am starting ‘With the Old Breed’ tonight. I received both books as Xmas presents. It just continues to amaze me what sacrifices our military men and women have made for this country! For Obama to pretend that he gives a crap about them is an insult to all who have and still wear the uniform.
Wow !!! he looks so skinny...he’s he ill??
Gee...the picture of class...
Nice flop flops...he must have gotten them from John Kerry...
And I thought Karl Marx was his grandfather!!
Look at it like this...
We’re just showing him all the love, devotion, honor, and respect that his supporters showed our last president for eight years.
Or put more simply...what goes around, comes around.
This is the FIRST time I've heard of the grandfather.
He’s as skinny as can be. Would like to see his medical reports, WHY. Moochelle didn’t visit the graveside, hmmmm. Have a feeling she was not very welcomed by the Dunhams???
Don’t you need an official permit to do that???
