The most highly educated generation in the history of the Mediterranean is facing one of its worst job markets, experts warn.

In Italy, where university cuts have provoked protests, President Giorgio Napolitano warned of "the pervasive malaise among young people" in his year-end address, The New York Times reported.

I can’t get a job, so I figured getting really pissed off might help. Works over in America, right?

That’s right! They should just march downstairs and say “Dad, I want my government back! Right now!”

"To preserve [the] independence [of the people,] we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. We must make our election between economy and liberty, or profusion and servitude. If we run into such debts as that we must be taxed in our meat and in our drink, in our necessaries and our comforts, in our labors and our amusements, for our callings and our creeds, as the people of England are, our people, like them, must come to labor sixteen hours in the twenty-four, give the earnings of fifteen of these to the government for their debts and daily expenses, and the sixteenth being insufficient to afford us bread, we must live, as they now do, on oatmeal and potatoes, have no time to think, no means of calling the mismanagers to account, but be glad to obtain subsistence by hiring ourselves to rivet their chains on the necks of our fellow-sufferers." --Thomas Jefferson to Samuel Kercheval, 1816. ME 15:39

"I deem [this one of] the essential principles of our government and consequently [one] which ought to shape its administration:... The honest payment of our debts and sacred preservation of the public faith." --Thomas Jefferson: 1st Inaugural, 1801. ME 3:322

"I sincerely believe... that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity under the name of funding is but swindling futurity on a large scale." --Thomas Jefferson to John Taylor, 1816. ME 15:23

"[With the decline of society] begins, indeed, the bellum omnium in omnia [war of all against all], which some philosophers observing to be so general in this world, have mistaken it for the natural, instead of the abusive state of man. And the fore horse of this frightful team is public debt. Taxation follows that, and in its train wretchedness and oppression." --Thomas Jefferson to Samuel Kercheval, 1816. ME 15:40

Hmmmm.... if their education system is anything like ours, this statement seems a little suspect.

Those are people who riot because their college tuition goes up by a buck or because the welfare benefit gets cut by a buck.

Violent revolutions are made from this type of discontent.

They're so smart that they don't understand that when employment costs are jacked up by the government, demand for workers decreases.

“Violent protests in Southern Europe reflect growing anger and despair among youth shut out of a future”

They are only “shut out of the future” if they think “the government” owes them a job. Which is probably what they have been educated/indoctrinated to think.

It is the parasitic socialist governments that raise the taxes so much, raising the costs for the producers and those who are working, costs which also make salary demands on the employers of those working and reducing job creation - due to wage and tax costs; instead of leaving more private revenue earned available to (1) be more productive, (2) hire more workers and (3) produce more with lower costs - thus providing jobs for future workers.

Instead, expect the European youth to demand the complete government takeover of the means of production with “guarantees” of jobs for everyone.

The “cold war” may have ended. The Marxist war against Liberty and free enterprise did not.

They are only a couple of years ahead of us. If anyone thinks the generation of people under 30 around the world will voluntarily pay for all the debts of the boomers, the rude awakening alarm clock will soon be going off.

Former Prime Minister Giuliano Amato told the Corriere della Sera newspaper, "The older generations have eaten the future of the younger ones." ...

...And as pensioners live longer, fewer young workers are paying less in taxes to support them.

Hmmmmm.

Am I sensing the glimmer of the inevitable final solution here?

Of course, the Muslims have all that planned anyhow - and they will likely inherit all of these intractable social "problems"...
