What part of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights don’t these people understand or comprehend? The language is beautiful and the ideas very clear.

Our Constitution is only unclear to those that are Stuck On Stupid.

The rest of us fully understand it and what it says.

“it rarely speaks directly to the questions we ask it.”

I addresses any and all issues we could now or ever present to it. If you are smart enough to read the Federalist Papers in conjunction with the final product, you will discover all the answers.

The key word(s) being “smart enough”. Our founding fathers were undoubtedly of genius status to a degree few today can grasp. So worry not and go out and buy a copy of the FP or get them on line for FREE.

Idiot!

The Constitution and Bill of Rights were written so that less learned people of the time could understand them. The liberatards can't read and understand them because they can not read their wacko ideas into it.

C/F/S/Dums cannot comprehend the Constitution because it is like holy water to a vampire.

Our forefathers understood it and believed in it 100%. Even in the 40’s, those people had a average of an 8th grade education and they understood it. In fact they helped build this nation better than almost any other generation. What has your generation done?

There's enough documentation around, written by the men who wrote it that clarifies things...

Please read and re-read and re-read the Declaration of Independence. Then read the Constitution....

The Wacko Patricia Schroeder former representative of Colorado once said that the Constitution and Bill of rights were old documents written by slaveholders and should be done away with. She would prefer to enslave the country with debt big government, communistic health care and programs that did not work.

Perhaps if this loon had actually gone to a real college and studied something difficult, he might not have trouble understanding things my home-schooled niece and nephew easily grasped.

"it rarely speaks directly to the questions we ask it..."

Oh, it speaks very vividly to all your questions Mr. Klein, unless your question focus on the loss of freedom.

Mr. Klein belongs to the segment which deems themselves as "intellectuals", and he can't read and comprehend the documents that most 5th graders can read? And they said Sarah Palin was stupid?

The Constitution answered every question that has ever been asked of it, it is a brilliant document. Some ask questions that the Constitution wasn't meant to answer, selfish, destructive questions and then they try to deem the document out of date because it doesn't specify how an ipod works.

The people who engage in kleinthink, are either stuck on ultrastupid, or, they are up to no good.

What a coincidence that a document that defines a society that limits centralized power is difficult to understand by those who covet that same centralized power.

Written more than 200 years ago, when America had 13 states and very different problems, it rarely speaks directly to the questions we ask it."

Oh yes it does Mr. Klein. You just don't like the answers it gives you.

The idea of personal freedom with limited government intrusion is so foreign to them they can’t even understand it in writing.
