MANATEE, Fla. (AP) A group of unruly teenagers attacked a 27-year-old Marine and his wife who had asked them to be quiet during a Christmas night showing of "Little Fockers."
The attack happened as the couple left the theater near Bradenton Saturday night. Authorities say the fight attracted about 300 bystanders.
Federico Freire, home on leave from Afghanistan, says they left the theater shortly after the teens were asked to leave.
The couple was kicked and punched in the parking lot before a gun-brandishing witness told the crowd to step back just before deputies arrived.

As a former inhabitant of Memphis (1960-1984) I understand. It’s going to get utterly and profoundly ugly when civil war develops. You’re seeignthe signs of it now. Anyone who wishes to live and who hasn’t alerady left is going to have to be prepared to kill without a thought or mercy.
You’re dealing with savages. Be prepared to act accordingly. Rourke’s Drift style - if you get my ‘drift’.
The laws in Florida are more lenient as evidenced by one of the comments on the story. The youths are very lucky none of them got shot....
Not all blacks, just some. But a considerable some, judging from the frequency of these incidents.
What people don’t understand is, that if the bottom drops out...
Those folks that you thought were nice people will steal you blind and worse if you cant defend yourself.
A savage is a savage - as defined by behavior, language and culture.
These thugs may have been savages, but they’re not zombies.
After 10 of their homies are lying in bloody pools,
the rest of them will... hopefully... back off.
True that but to add to the calculus goups such as the Black Caucus, NAACP etc and a large percentage of all blacks will either make excuses for or circle the wagons around them.
a young Al Sharpton..
Reason # 32 as to why I don’t go the movies.
No, I didn’t actually miss it, I didn’t put two and two together. I was never very good at math. Still, that’s like maybe the last movie I would want to see, but clearly someone likes that stuff. They make it. I found the joke on the name so gross that it would be hard for it to be funny enough for me to want to see it, and from the reviews it doesn’t appear to be anywhere near good. Even my time is worth something. Not much, but something.
Mmmmmmm,Mmmmmmm,Mmmmmmmm!!!!! Mmmmmmmm, Mmmmmmmm,Mmmmmmmm!!!
I’ve stopped going to the movies almost entirely. But people I know who still go to movies, amusement parks, etc. always say never to respond to a group of blacks who are being noisy, cutting in line, or being otherwise obnoxious. It’s a lose/lose situation; you’ll be beaten or accused of racism and/or they’ll be waiting for you at the exit. Just go to the manager, ask for your money back and leave. It’s really a shame, but this is the world we live in now.
The rest may get me in a rush, but my first shot would make a canoe out of at least one of their heads.
Ha! She does have his hair down pretty darn good.
With a crowd like that, you mostly only need to make a few examples for the rest to get the idea and beat feet. After all, no one wants to be the Next one...
Those folks that you thought were nice people will steal you blind and worse if you cant defend yourself.
True enough. Desperation and lack of preparation will turn the 'nicest' people nasty. A lot of folks are living on wishful thinking. When reality dictates that is no longer an option, all bets are off. Some will just curl up and die. Others will turn savage. There is only one way to deal with them.
Some citizen shoots 10 black minors in a parking lot and we are going to hear about “another Bernard Goetz going mental...”.
I do recall what happened at my High School in 1973. The "large city in Oklahoma" police officer assigned to plainclothes security duty in our school one day found himself backed into a corner by several members of a demographic group "different from mine", who threatened to kill him.
Some were brandishing those big giant-sized combs with a handle that look kinda like a pruning saw that were popular with those guys who had those big puffy hairdos... I forget what they were called... Others of them had more "weapon weapons", from the story I was told by one of my teachers.
Ol' Nick the Narc (that's what we called him, first as a term of derision and later one of respect - he knows who he is if he's lurking) pulled his .357 and pointed it up the leader's nose and said "You're going with me."
About that time all the rest of them decided they had somewhere else they needed to be.
But like I said, I'm glad it wasn't me facing that situation.
People who make excuses for this kind of behavior are foolish, because they themselves could be victims as easily as anyone else. And the likely consequence of this kind of behavior is that someone on either side of the fight winds up seriously injured or dead.
