Biggest conservative names bidding goodbye to CPAC

Two of the nation's premier moral issues organizations, the Family Research Council and Concerned Women for America, are refusing to attend the Conservative Political Action Conference in February because a homosexual activist group, GOProud, has been invited.

"We've been very involved in CPAC for over a decade and have managed a couple of popular sessions. However, we will no longer be involved with CPAC because of the organization's financial mismanagement and movement away from conservative principles," said Tom McClusky, senior vice president for FRC Action.

Don't know what to say about this one. If true, sad!

It’s FudgePAC now. A conservative speaker even got boo’d and shouted down last year for his pro-family views.

Yeah. CPAC is gay. Conservative means to CONSERVE America, not to allow it to descend into faggotry and death.

But we have to be careful though. Names are everything. And these CINOs are dominating a very important namespace.

People take a name like CPAC & assume that they are the standard bearer, when they are NOT.

There MUST be a well-named CPAC to steal the thunder back.

Good. The winnowing must be done.

Given the current economic situation, I personally emphasize fiscal conservarism -- but I will not turn my back on social conservatism. If CPAC is extending a hand to homosexuals, then that is a bad move.

The reality is that government needs to do less. We need less special legislation for special groups, and we need drastically less government spending. That kind of fiscal conservatism will lead inevitably to social conservatism. We can get there, but not if organizations like CPAC try to act like Liberal Democrats.

“The winnowing must be done.”

It should be done not by running, but by standing up and refusing to allow conservative organizations to be perverted.

CPAC has been FudgePAC for several years now. Romney will be there, as will many of his Gay Brigades® of internet trolls/consultants.

That doesn’t work. GOProud was at CPAC last time even though some organizations objected. A few pulled out. The ONLY way to get the message across is to make CPAC a skeleton left with nothing but liberals and Rinos.

We should create a real conservative organization. I have no idea what to name it, but maybe we can find something that would fit the acronym PECAN.

People, Enterprise, Community and Nation... I dunno....

National Union of Conservative Voters? (NUCoVote?) “Nuke the vote!”

lol

American Conservative Organization for Renewing the Nation (ACORN) “Since they want to abandon the name, we might as well steal it”

hehe

or my favorite....

Freedom Clubs of America (FCA) with “autonomous” local chapters. Maybe charge an annual dues with 25% of it going to the national organization and most of it staying at the local and state affiliates.

or something like that.

If there identity is defined by being gay that they have an agenda driven by their identity.

I don’t blame the other groups from being offended.

If Gays want to be in the GOP, why not join a group that isn’t defined by their sexuality and instead join a group that they feel respected within?

I know the answer, they want to use their group to push for the Gay agenda. I wouldn’t be surprised if many in this group are Fiscal Conservative or even double agents that are working both sides of the line.
