Hawaii Governor Abercrombie concerned that Legislators in other States are introducing Legislation to require proof of citizenship to be on the ballot in 2012.

It’s just MHO, but one of the dumbest things they can do is release a forged document. There are forgery experts in this world, and if they find it suspect, the release would just keep the story alive—if not make it bigger.

Then BO simply got his cronies in the MSM to declare that the forged COLB was “proof” that BO was born in Hawaii. Of course, when BO releases his forged Long Form BC, his cronies in the MSM will declare that it is “legitimate proof positive” that BO was born in Hawaii.

No, it isn’t. So if there were any questions about what the Founding Fathers understood a year to be, the Courts could look outside the Constitution for a definition.

And they would find that a year is defined by the Julian calendar, which has been in use since 45 BC.

All Obama has to do is release his Long Form Birth Certificate. Instead of spending millions to stop the release....its time for Obama to release it

And, what is really scary....is that we have lot of people that take the side of CNN and Liberals on the BC issue.

I was listening to Michael Medved yesterday, and yet again he brings up the topic of why this is sooooooooo damaging to conservatives. I really like Medved, but I just do not understand him on this issue. I'm not a “birther” whatever that means...not rabid about the issue...however, I do want to see EVERYBODY show proof of natural born status that runs for pres. Why is this thought of a kooky and/or extreme?

I understand that AZ has passed this as a state requirement to get on the ballot...also a few other states. If so Barry will have to pony one up. My guess is that he never makes it to a 2012 run.

Another guess is that he WAS born in Hawaii, but there is something really damning on that long form bc. I used to think that it was that Frank Marshall Davis was his real daddy....but, now my conspiracy riddled mind thinks that Grandpa Dunham was really the father and Stanley his sister. I know, it's out there, but there is something that stinks to high heaven about this entire family situation.

If they release a forged document, it would be the biggest scandal in my lifetime. Impeachment would necessarily follow. All legislation signed by Obama would be subject to invalidation. I triple-dog dare them.

No congressman has said a thing about impeaching BO for the forged COLB or the Certification Fraud or the Voter Fraud etc. etc. etc. so what makes you think congress will impeach BO for releasing a forged BC?

And even if they do impeach him in the House, do you really think that the dem controlled Senate will convict BO?

Releasing the COB, with all the attendant publicity and questioning, is what elevated the issue. They probably would have been better off sticking with the newspaper announcement.

If an official moves to release the longform and there are legitimate questions about its authenticity, the noise is likely to get even louder.

Actually it was the Gregorian calendar by then. But there are fiscal years, school years, lunar years. Yet everyone seemed to know what a year was. They also knew what a natural-born citizen was.

Being a Birther is not solely related to questions about Obama's birth. Birthers just don't buy Obama's brand of bullshit, and they instictively know Obama's refusal to release ALL of his hidden bona fides stinks to high heaven.

... On April 5, 2008, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Passport Services Ann Barrett resigned from her post after a credit card scheme using US passport date was uncovered by the security probe. State Department Spokesman Tom Casey told The Washington Times that 24-year-old Lieutenant Quarles Harris Jr. told federal authorities he obtained “passport information from a co-conspirator who works for the U.S. Department of State.”

The investigation began after Metropolitan Police on March 25 pulled over Mr. Harris in Southeast on suspicion that the windows of his vehicle were tinted too darkly.
After searching Mr. Harris and his vehicle, police found marijuana and 21 credit cards that were not issued in his name or the name of a female passenger with him. Police also found eight printouts of State Department passport applications, and four of the names on the applications matched four of the credit cards.
Upon questioning by agents from the U.S. Secret Service, U.S. Postal Service and State Department, Mr. Harris “admitted he obtained the passport information” from a State Department employee, court documents say.

Mr. Harris also said the fraud ring submitted credit-card applications using the names and “identifying information” of the persons listed on the passport applications, and that a postal service employee then would intercept the cards before they were delivered to the appropriate residences.
Then, on April 17, 2008, Lt. Harris was found fatally shot dead slumped over the steering wheel of his car in front of the Judah House Praise Baptist Church in Northeast DC."

Cmdr. Anzallo said a police officer was patrolling the neighborhood when gunshots were heard, then Lt. Harris was found dead inside the vehicle, which investigators would describe only as a blue car."

The Gregorian calendar came into existence in 1582. Its definition of a year was based on the twelve-month year defined by the Julian calendar in 45 BC. So everyone has known what a year is since 45 BC.

In Minor v. Happersett, Chief Justice Waite writes:

"The Constitution does not, in words, say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners. Some authorities go further and include as citizens children born within the jurisdiction without reference to the citizenship of their parents. As to this class there have been doubts, but never as to the first. For the purposes of this case it is not necessary to solve these doubts."

Justices all seem to have their agendas. Maybe, he didn't know any more what the phrase meant. I did say that the meaning has rarely been an issue. The word dollar was also used twice in the Constitution. It's very clear that everyone then knew what it meant, but you won't get any judge anyplace who will allow that understanding to be used as a basis for any court ruling. Maybe this is okay with you, but it's not okay with me. You will live contented; and I will live troubled. What else can I say?
