Collins Hails Repeal of "Don't Ask Don't Tell" (Obama heaps praise on RINO Collins)

The Maine senator collected kudos from President Obama for her role in moving the controversial legislation forward.

Maine Sen. Susan Collins was the only Republican on the stage for yesterday's signing of the bill repealing the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy on gays in the military, and one of only two Republicans at the ceremony.

Collins, who played a major role in moving the legislation forward, collected kudos from President Obama. "I want to thank Joe Lieberman and Susan Collins," he said, to cheers from the attendees.

Collins says there was no reason for the U.S. military to continue banning gays. "Great Britain, Australia, the Israelis--some 28 countries allow openly gay and lesbian men and women to serve."

Collins says it will take some time to implement the change, but she says it is needed.

For lack of a better word, she talks like a retard, lisping every other word. And she looks like she just got run over by a truck. Seriously, how does someone like this get elected?

P.S. I apologize now to anyone that was offended by my words.

Collins says there was no reason for the U.S. military to continue banning gays. "Great Britain, Australia, the Israelis--some 28 countries allow openly gay and lesbian men and women to serve."

In a follow up question, Collins was asked about the militaries of our most serious threats to our national security, Al Qeda, China, Russia, Iran, and N Korea? Do they allow LGBTs to serve openly in their militaries? Collins had no comment.

Regarding the follow up question, of course, I jest. But, shouldn't she have been asked? We can only assume the MSM is so loaded with LGBTs, and their enablers, that no follow up questions challenging her premise were allowed.

Here's another follow-up she should have been asked. Will gay men and lesbian women in the military be allowed to adopt, or in the case of lesbians, artificially inseminate, to have children? Making their adoptions, or insemination's, military dependent children? Eligible for all the benefits, like the children of heterosexual military parents, serving in the military?

Here’s another follow-up question:

Q: Which has more intelligence—an electric toothbrush or Susan Collins?

A: According to the latest battery of tests, there’s no statistical difference! ;)

“I’m up for reelection in 2014.”

####

And will win again handily.

Collins, and for that matter devoted Communists like Obama, are NOT the problem.

The problem is “Americans” who consistently vote to put these people in power.

The proud, the few. Be all you can be. Bunk with gay men and service a gay officer....

I called my local high school and told them to keep this gay organization off the campus. If they go near my son I will sue the school.

so who can be run against her in the primary?

It seems very clear, all RINOs must be primaried regardless of the general election.

The dynamics of Maine senatorial elections are like what happened with Moo-cow-ski in Alaska. The Maine Democrats put up a token candidate with no chance of winning so the rank and file liberals simply vote for Collins or Snowe as the lesser of evils.
Snowe and Collins are usually reelected by double digit margins.
They too would run as independents if they were ever to lose in the primaries.
Among registered Republicans in Maine, Olympia Snowe currently has a minus 27 point disapproval rating.

“The problem is ‘Americans’ who consistently vote to put these people in power.”

Exactly. Americans are easy to fool. I should go door to door and try to sell dehydrated water to all these simpletons who put Obama, the Dems, and the RINOs in power. I’d probably be a multimillionaire in less than a month!! ;)

“Snowe and Collins are usually reelected by double digit margins.”

Another reason we need term limits. It’s time we put people like Moo-cow-ski out to pasture permanently. Please go here and sign this petition, and tell a few friends about it too:

I hope the Tea Party rains on her parade in 2012. But then again, if she can run as an independent, will it even matter? I think the reason these RINOs don’t switch parties is that they feel they have a better chance of being re-elected if they stay Republican. Too bad there aren’t more DINOs. The only one I can think of was Zell Miller.

I spent some time reading the report today....it hurts your brain. If you look at the hard answers...positive/negative, in every case the negatives are at least double. The answers that I don’t understand is equally positive/negative. WTH is that supposed to mean?

Everyone has to serve in Israel in some capacity. Let me ask you something though, do Israelis deploy outside of their country like we do?

It staggers my brain to see how callous the left is towards our Troops, while they are at war.

All the while, they preach how much they care about them.

Unfortunately, Patty Murray is one of my Senators and the day after they passed this monstrosity, she emailed out, “Last week, I proudly cast my vote for legislation to repeal the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” (DADT) policy. For far too long, men and women with the courage and commitment to serve our nation have been asked to hide the truth about who they are. This is shameful, it’s bad policy, and it needed to end. In a speech on the Senate floor prior to final passage, I urged my colleagues to repeal this failed policy and told the story of Major Margaret Witt, from Washington state, who was discharged under DADT.”

Totally ignored throughout the process is the increase in sexual assaults within the Military, primarily upon women, but also a huge increase in male on male sexual assault.

The DoD has in place a program to deal with the growing problem, but even dealing with such an increase is a distraction and a detriment to our Troops, while at war!

I cannot believe she used Maj. Witt. I don’t know the story of Maj. Witt but she was not booted for DADT, Maj. Witt was having an affair with a married woman and was part of a divorce proceeding. Adultery is against the UCMJ! I find that if you really look into these instances of those discharged under DADT, there is ALWAYS something else that is against the UCMJ, not just being gay! But hey, if we knew that their poor me mantra wouldn’t work!

While Obama has signed the law, it is up to the Chief to work out the details. This could end up worse for gays then DADT. Yes, they can say they are gay, but at the same time they could be under a microscope.

Much as McCain and Graham are Class A RINOs, they’re not to blame for the crap that happened in the lame-duck session. Just wanted to keep it in perspective.

Right, but their past performances are indicative of their overall perspective of conservatism, or lack of.

Still don't trust them.
