The dynamics of Maine senatorial elections are like what happened with Moo-cow-ski in Alaska. The Maine Democrats put up a token candidate with no chance of winning so the rank and file liberals simply vote for Collins or Snowe as the lesser of evils.
Snowe and Collins are usually reelected by double digit margins.
They too would run as independents if they were ever to lose in the primaries.
Among registered Republicans in Maine, Olympia Snowe currently has a minus 27 point disapproval rating.
Everyone has to serve in Israel in some capacity. Let me ask you something though, do Israelis deploy outside of their country like we do?
